We had a very spacious apartment tastefully decorated with a very small balcony overlooking the pool. All the equipment was good, except the fridge door was lacking shelves, and the stove was very old (but worked). There was only one bedside table with a lamp - we moved a small coffee table in the lounge and bought a lamp from St Vincent de Paul for $5. The restaurant and pool bar was closed for the winter. It was convenient to the shops. The pool temperature was just right. It was an enjoyable holiday, but not up to timeshare quality. (we booked through RCI)

Excellent pool area and wonderful tropical gardens. However Noosa is much busier now than when this place was built probably 20-25 years ago, so the traffic noise is pretty bad.I had trouble sleeping and probably wouldnt stay here again because of the noise. Its unfortunate because it was a good sized unit and a reasonable price close to Hastings Street. The grounds and pool make the place. Nice swim up pool bar however dont order the cocktails as they dont really know how to make them. But a beer is fine!

We'd booked this hotel through timeshare. The staff were friendly and the swimming pools and gardens well maintained. We had unit 105 which was at the southern end of the complex, which was away from the main reception and pool area and we had the smaller pool and spa often to ourselves. However the unit got a lot of external noise from traffic climbing the hill, from drunks at night staggering to or from Hastings St, and from builders across the street with their radios on before 6am. The housekeeping of the unit was good but the furnishings and appliances were in need of replacement. The couch was particularly tired and smelly, and the cushions were banished to the balcony. The hotel had a good, locked underground carpark and the location was a five minute walk from Hastings St so it was good to walk down to the beach and leave the car at the hotel. We didn't try the restuarant but it seemed to have meals at reasonable prices and had a poolside bar with a 3 to 4pm happy hour

We stayed here for 5 nights between Christmas and New Year and from the pictures it looked great.

The good points: - front reception staff were very friendly and helpful; apartment (2 bed on top floor at the back) very spacious with all usual appliances and good sized balcony; good swimming pool (although freezing cold).

Bad points:- the apartment had seen better days. We were disappointed with the state of repair to say the least. We weren't expecting top of the range, but it was really dowdy, a bit dirty and just really old. A good coat of paint and some general modernisation & repairs wouldn't go a miss. From the sound of some of the other reviews, the apartments may well vary in appearance.

Anyway, we had a good time in Noosa, but we won't be staying here again.

What can I say? For my first trip to Queensland it was great. The resort had great facilities. The pool was quite big and the two spas were great. The pool bar was even better. Could swim straight up for a Cocktail. The apartment facilities were fantastic too. The kitchen living area was large. Having the dryer and wash machine in your room was great too. The balcony was great, enabling privacy as well as enjoying the sounds of nature. Would highly recommend and would definatly consider staying here again.

Say this was the last room in the last hotel available in Noosa, I would still sleep in the car, at least no-one would rip me off like these people. We paid a fortune for the room and when we got there there was a stench coming from the bathroom, rusty fridge, dead bugs on the floor and no security screen. Being a ground floor apartment this was a major problem especially given the fact the sliding windows would not lock properly!
We refused to stay in that room, it was disgusting and smelly with tired old furniture, but the staff was not helpful at all, quite rude and argumentative. They said there were no rooms available and we HAVE to sleep there! No-one bothered to come and have a look at the room and they said we would still have to pay for it. The Stella Resorts management did the same and we ended up paying more than $400 as cancellation fee because we refused to accept that room. I will take with OCA but it looks like it will be a long time before (if at all) I see my money back. Buyer beware!

Encouraged by previous reports, we booked a one bedroom aparment for 7 nights. the apartment we were given was well below the 3.5 star standard . It was dark and dingy with old fittings e.g rust patches on the fridge . the shower/wash room was tiny.

Reception had closed early that evening. Next morning we were given another apartment which was bright ,airy and had a large balcony. all appliances were in excellent condition.

be aware that there is a noisy main road on one side of the resort.

As the apartments are privately owned our experience suggests that they are not all to the same standard.
