“Great location - poor policy decision making”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 August 2014

A truly lovely location, directly fronting Noosa Beach. Slap bang in the middle of where all the action is on Hastings Street. The apartment was lovely, 3rd floor balcony, beach facing thereby reducing the noise from the popular aforementioned Hastings...
We were celebrating my wife's birthday - neither of us had been to Noosa - we were in the low season - it was busy at the weekend but then extremely quiet during the week - in other words perfect.
On the morning of our departure, I asked about a late check out - begrudgingly, I was offered until 11am - even though the resort was practically empty...(we finally left at noon accompanied by frowns and tut tuting noises...

The conversation went something like this....
Me - may we have a late check out
Manager - no - it's against policy
Me - but you're practically empty
Manager - yes, but we will be very busy on the weekend
Me - but it's Tuesday.....

Enough said - I was left pretty speechless by that retort

Loved Noosa, really loved the beach and Hastings Street - I'm sure there are more accommodating resorts to be found - we'll certainly be looking them out next time we go back.

Dear dwmedia,
Thankyou for taking the time to write a review. I was glad to hear that you both really enjoyed the location and your beachfront apartment during your stay. We noted your wife's birthday and upgraded your booking to a larger ,top floor apartment prior to your arrival to help make the most of the occasion. On departure you requested a late checkout which we extended to 12.00 but we were unable to further extend checkout due to scheduled maintenance work in your apartment . As you may re call, housekeeping informed guests via a letter the previous night these works were occurring. Whilst, we understand that it doesn't not always suit, we also made the offer of our transit facility, car parking and pool for your use after you checked out. We constantly strive to meet the requests of our guests to make their stay as enjoyable as possible but we acknowledge that this is not always possible . We hope you come back and visit Noosa again soon
Kind Regards
Lee-Ann Hay

Stayed here for 4 nights in a 1 bedroom penthouse room. The interiors (I later read) have all been refurbished & redesigned and the quality of room design, decor & equipment provided etc really is top notch. The owners have obviously gone out to provide a high end experience here which was very nice. The views onto beach & sea were great and the large balcony area was used plenty for eating and just lounging around.

The private top most (roof level) floor is reached via some spiral steps and up there are sun loungers, a large table to seat 6 for eating etc and at the very back is a 5-6 person hot tub. Given we had booked & payed for it, we had to make a point of using this top floor! But to be honest the space was largely un-needed as a couple. Maybe it would have been used more in warmer weather :-)

So, overall, a fantastic stay here & well recommended!

Room Tip: Beach facing for peace, quiet & view. Top & middle floors for privacy. 1 bedroom penthouse...

My husband and I recently visited Seahaven on a last-minute weekend away, without the kids! It's winter, so we were happy with a well-priced late booking of a Hastings Street studio apartment. Clean, spacious and perfect for our needs. The pool is right on the beach, and a great warm temperature for winter dipping. Staff were lovely, everything was exceptionally clean, and free onsite parking is handy. Only improvements for the street fronting studios would be a sheer "modesty" blind. If the blackout room binds are up, you are in full view of pedestrians on the street. Would book again without hesitation for a longer family stay in the warmer months.

Room Tip: Hastings Street side studios are cheaper than beachside rooms. In winter, this wasn't a problem...

We spent 2 to 3 weeks here every year for 8 years with our young and growing family. They absolutely loved it. Awesome location on the beach and close walking distance to shops and restaurants. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms aren't spectacular but very functional and clean. The kitchen is a real bonus especially with kids and the room service from the Italian restaurant downstairs was utilised plenty of times over the years.

Room Tip: If you have a young family ground floor is very good for convenience of the pool and beach. There is...

Seahaven has always had an unbeatable position on the beachfront at the quiet end of Hastings street. It has now been renovated and the rooms are stylish and modern. We stayed in a studio apartment which was quiet and clean. The staff were friendly and all the shopping and eating choices are only a short walk away. We can't wait to return.

We just came home after a great 3 nights at Seahaven! The rooms we stayed in was a studio with a hastings st view, and it was great. Everything is brand new, very stylish and very clean. Everyone in the hotel is helpful and always has a smile to offer. The pools were heated, direct access to the beach, and central access to Hastings street. We will be coming back every year for sure!

Room Tip: If you want to save some money, go for the Studio, though if you want to splurge than get a room wit...

If you are looking for that perfect beach holiday this is the place. Rooms are modern and fresh and the view across the pool to the ocean is unforgettable You can sit on your balcony and watch the kids play on the beach Lovely and warm in winter Staff friendly and take advantage of the limousine service from the airport Good value and nicer than a taxi

Room Tip: Best rooms probably on the top floor as you do get some noise from the units overhead
