This was an unexpected surprise After coming from a 5 star hotel just up the road at Outrigger we actually prefer this place. Rooms were everything we needed bbq area right by pool for cooking and beds very comfy. Room had fantastic view of river.

Also very accommating hosts as due to my wifes sore knee did some changes and put us on ground floor.

Only recommendation was that there was no wifi in rooms. But this was not a major.

All in all a great stay and would come back again.

We are a mature couple ,so for us the location was perfect- on the famous Hastings but the quiet part- Noosa is very elegant and has a splendid beach. Hotel is close to everything you need plus boardwalk at the end of the beach (splendid views). At the first sight , hotel is ordinary looking. The room was comfortable, clean and very practical (kitchenette). The pool side is in a quiet and nicely kept tropical garden. Good ratio price/quality.

My husband and I have just come back from a long weekend in Noosa, staying at Hotel Laguna on Hastings Street (the quiet end of the street). We stayed in 1 one bedroom, Unit 214. Perfect! Great 5 star river views from the bedroom balcony and lovely secluded views over the pool from our lounge balcony. The rooms were nicely furnished and very clean, comfy bed and a spacious modern bathroom. Not enough coat hangers though, so do take some of your own.
The Managers, Tony and Linda were very helpful and welcoming - lovely locals who made us feel very valued.
This is a 'gem' - it's a real oasis and a surprise when you walk into the complex from the hustle and bustle of Hastings Street. With secure parking and a great pool area, that doesn't attract noisy teenagers because it's not a massive development, it is ideal for empty nesters, couples or people with young families. Not all apartments are furnished to the same standard - it pays to book direct and speak to the staff to select the right apartment for you (no lifts).
We will be back - having stayed in other places in Noosa, this is now our most favourite place to stay - thank you.

Room Tip: Pick an apartment on the river side (studios, 1 beds or two beds - dual key). First floor gives you elevated views and privacy and not too many stairs.

We have just returned from a very 'different' kind of holiday as we were caught in the middle of the cyclone and then the 'foam phenomina'. I can really recommend Hotel Laguna as a fantastic location right in Hastings Street and across the road from the beach even though we only managed to get to the beach once due to the rain. The two balconies were just fantastic and had no complaints whatsoever - fantastic bed and pillows. The only suggestion I would make is that as we were there for five nights it would have been nice to have the towels replaced every second day. This is not a complaint just a suggestion.

My partner and I stayed here in the middle of January for a short Sunshine Coast getaway. We were pleasantly surprised as we drove up the driveway. Check in was easy and car was secure in a good size car park. Only pitfall was 3 flights of stairs to carry our luggage. On entering the room, the accomodation was adequate and basic and could do with some TLC. However, on opening the balcony door, the highlight of our 2 night stay was a 5 star amazing river view!
Location was excellent being on Hastings St in amongst the cafes, restaurants and shops as well as a short stroll to the beach! I would recommend this hotel to friends as a budget accomodation in a great location.
