“Great value for your $$$”
Reviewed 15 July 2014

We recently spent 5 nights at the Culgoa Point Beach Resort and are looking forward to returning. The welcome we received at reception was second to none. The one bedroom apartment overlooking the marina was great - we loved the morning sunshine we got whilst having breakfast on the verandah. We were able to walk to Hastings Street in 12-15minutes and Noosa Marina was not out of reach. The local bus stop was only a couple of minutes walk away as was the convenience store. We hired kayaks and lazed both on the beach and poolside. Management kept us updated with texts and were happy to store our luggage as we had a late departure. Can't wait for the next trip!

Room Tip: Marina rooms have the morning sun - select the other rooms for afternoon sun i guess.

Just spent 2 weeks here. Had a ground floor apartment right on the beach. The rooms were very clean and spacious. However the apartment we had was not refurbished so a little 80,s still as many are still being completed. I would recommend an upstairs apartment as it would also be more private and a little quieter with no noise from above. e.g showering and chairs being moved around. Also people walking up to windows and looking in. The setting is beautiful with the river and beach. It is at least a good 15 to 20 min walk into Hastings St. so a car can be handy and also great to see the surrounding little towns up in the hills. However if you enjoy lots of walks it is fine. Really halfway between Noosa and Noosaville which is lovely to have a quiet coffee rather than in Hastings St. which can be a little busy and Noosaville is on the river as well with lots of accommodation to choose from as well which can be a little cheaper. Lots of lovely coffee shops and places to eat as well along there. A shuttle bus is available from the airport and will drop people off at the door if you don,t have a car which can be really handy.

Room Tip: Upstairs would be much better and more private with people not able to walk up and look through the...

Hello Kim B,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review on your stay at Culgoa Point. As apartments here are individually owned we have many different styles, so we price them according to how recently they have been refurbished and modernised. If guests are after a more modern apartment they should request a premium apartment when booking. The less recently renovated apartments are still spacious and comfortable and are often a more economical option for guests. It's great to hear your feedback on the resort and the surrounds. We look forward to seeing you again next time.
Kind Regards,
Emily Heap

Pool area and surrounding areas well planned and well furnished. Sauna and jaccuzzi also available around pool area. Lovely location highly recommended

Three years ago I organized a group of 14 friends to spend a long weekend at Noosa, I was lucky to get recommendation from two well traveled colleagues to stay at Culgoa Point, everyone loved the resort.

This year, we went back again in May, it just impressed me again, we went at the beginning of May so it wasn't peak season, I asked if I can get one of the newly renovated room when made the booking even though I paid for normal rooms, when we got there, we found ourselves in a very modern and nicely decorated apartment, the service from the reception is friendly.

The best part is the location and the view of the resort, you can enjoy the sunset on the private beach at the front door, we even threw a fishing line into the water from our balcony. Just love this resort, definitely will come back again.

Room Tip: Room 35 (two bedroom apartments) was on the corner and had the glass window on two sides which gives...

Stayed for two nights in May, paid a little extra for beach front location which was definitely worth it. The apartments have everything you need and even supply a little tea, coffee and milk for arrival. Very friendly staff. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was very modern with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. There is a bottle shop at the end of the road and an excellent restaurant which is BYOB. The pool is is gorgeous and there is a jacuzzi and sauna. Everything was perfect and I would thoroughly recommend these apartments.

Received by a nice polite young lady. Gave us the low-down in the area, with map. Very nice ground floor, corner unit, with side window, next to the pool. Unit 4. Well appointed. Washing machine rather noisy.(told receptionist) Comfortable bed. Great views of the inlet, boats and bird life.
Very handy to shops and ferry terminal. Unable to get a rental car - probably left it too late to think about getting one. Very keen to go back

Room Tip: Probably best to be away from the pool at holiday time. Could be very noisy. Ensure you make ab ar...

Stayed for 5 nights over Easter 2014. Unit 33 over looked the Marina, was quite and would stay in this unit again. Bedding was excellent in both rooms and had heaps of pillows to choose from. Was clean and the furniture was modern and very comfortable. BBQ's everywhere and were always clean and ready to use. Pool nice and plenty of poolside furniture. We Kayak'd everyday and walked to Hasting St or Noosaville easily.
