We paid extra for a renovated beach house and were not disappointed. Number 12 had almost brand new bathrooms! The convenient position has already been mentioned and was the reason we chose this place, we wanted to be able to walk to the beach without getting into our car. Lovely walks nearby and the Surfclub is handy for reliable food with a view. The modern pool was heated and had lounge chairs and a BBQ. On a less positive note, the property is quite hemmed in and shady(good in summer I guess) It was not full during our visit but I imagine it can get noisy. Traffic noise noticeably loud early morning and we also had building work going on at a next door unit and although we were offered a change of unit we didn't think it would change anything. I don't see why a reduction couldn't be offered in these circumstances. Finally, this was the most expensive accommodation during our Queensland holiday and the only one that didn't provide free Wifi and free beach towels. This would be a nice touch.

Room Tip: Check layout of property and choose where you stay if possible, 12 was in the middle. I think 22 was...

We stayed here for a long weekend (3 nights). It wasn't until after I had paid on check in that I was told that the beach house next door was undergoing renovations. She assured me that they would not be there over the weekend so we wouldn't be disturbed, although they may be doing work that afternoon (Friday). As we were out and about that afternoon, we didn't notice. However, they started work at 6.30am on the Monday morning with power tools and the living area of the beach house was filled with paint fumes and dust. Also there was no hot water for our showers in the morning! Needless to say we couldn't wait to get out of there even though we didn't have to check out until 10am. When we checked out the lady at reception apologised and said they shouldn't have started work until 9, but she didn't do anything about it and didn't offer anything for the inconvenience. The beach house that we stayed in (number 8) was dated and simple, yet clean. It had two showers but the shower in the ensuite had no pressure so we all used the other shower. The one positive was the location but after our experience I don't think we will stay here again!

We sincerely apologise for the noise from the builder, as explained the builder was not there on the weekend and we advised all guests prior to stay that there would be renovations to one of our Beach Houses. The builder is not suppose to start any work at all that early and it was as much as a shock to us. As you can imagine this has been dealt with the builder, so please note this is not a regular occurrence.

In relation to the no hot water in the showers unfortunately we had not been informed of this issue until reading this review and we have had a plumber onsite since to rectify the problem. We encourage all our wonderful guests to inform us of any issues within their Beach House or the complex so we can address any issues immediately. Our guests enjoyment during their stay is our number one priority and we are not shy of feedback hence our encouragement of our guests informing us of any issues.

I found this on wotif.com at a days notice for A$200 a night. 2 mins walk to the beach, restaurants, etc. I had my own room and bed and the children each had a single. TV upstairs and downstairs too. What a fun. I will be back.

WOW! WOW! and WOW! again.......especially if you like relaxed , close to everything
with everything you need.......but feel like you're not in a cement mausoleum! These beach houses are truly sooooo close to everything that is NOOSA! - in fact its just 20 meters walk through from the middle of Hastings and who would guess that you are then
enveloped in a bush setting with scrub turkeys running around or resting in the trees, parrots feeding on the nectar of bottlebrush; and even a Koala decided to treat the
Asian tourists to a "special photo coup". We all loved it....its truly Aussie and we hope to get our friends who are visiting from San Franscisco to drop by and enjoy this area too!

Room Tip: We had unit 19 - NOT REFURBISHED but we loved it!! nice, reclusive location!

WOW best location for the price, a 3 minute walk to the beach same for Bistro C restaurant which was divine along with other cafe and restaurants on the same strip. This has obviously been recently renovated and renovated well, it was open and spacious with the privacy I need when away oh and 3 minute walk in the other direction we were brave enough to hire a boat and cruise down the river which was kind of romantic once we worked out how to steer the thing. I would definitely come back but next time with my 2 children.

Room Tip: Fully renovated open and spacious

This accommodation is exactly what I want in Noosa. Unpretentious, clean, good value and right in the thick of Hastings St. The property is set back from Hastings St and reached through an arcade. The Main Street and all it has to offer, the beach, and the National Park can be reached without a car. Perfect for friends and families. Highly recommend beach house #24 or one that does not have the outdoor area overlooking the access road as they are more private.

Right at the back of Hastings st. Hands down value for money and location you can't beat it. Very unique stand alone two level treehouse cubes. You will have to climb stairs to get from the ground to front door. Some of the bungalows are a bit worn/tired but who cares? You aren't going to spend every minute in them anyhow. Ours had a master and guest room (2 singles) on top level. living room/kitchen/deck on 1st floor had pretty views of old ficus trees (tall, 30yrs +). Great unique place to stay and we'll be back.

Room Tip: Choose the houses in the middle of the complex to avoid rowdy Hastings or Sheraton bar noise on the...
