We had dinner here on a Saturday night with our two children (7 and 9). When we called to book (the day before) they only had the 5.30-7.30 pm session left, which was fine with us.
The waiters were terrific with the kids. Wine list was pretty good, and reasonably priced for a nice restaurant like this ($62 for a Dog Point chard).
I had the tuna carpaccio entree and my wife had the calamari. Carpaccio tasted great, but tuna was a good 6-7mm thick, so not carpaccio. But I wasn't complaining! Calamari was superb - extremely fresh, with light batter.
For main, I had the crispy skinned barramundi special ($34) on quinoa and rice base, in a tomato/asparagus sauce, and my wife had pumpkin gnocchi. My main was fantastic - best I've had in quite a while.
Kids' meals were very well done. Suitable amount of care put into them. The kids "mocktails" section was a great addition, and the drinks themselves were great.
Will definitely be back when we next visit.
