This was a brief visit on our way home but we will be returning. Our room was just lovely full of 'Arts and Crafts' furnishing as is the whole hotel. We had lots of space and added extras as well as a lovely view over the fields and strath. Everywhere was spotless and service superb being both efficient and friendly. Dinner was really tasty and interesting though the large portions eventually defeated me. Breakfast was excellent with really good coffee, bacon and smoked salmon. The owner/ manager is clearly 'hands on' and is doing a fantastic job providing us with a really personalised visit.

Room Tip: Best views from rooms at front of hotel

We visited for an evening meal with a (very) large family party during the Easter break. The place is just beautiful and staff very welcoming without being intrusive. The food was superb and the whole evening a great success. This place deserves to do well - worth travelling for.

We had a lovely three day break at this hotel. From the minute we arrived we were made to feel relaxed and welcome by the young man at reception who showed us to our upgraded room. The complimentary scotch is a very nice touch. Great, well presented meals in the cozy bar with blazing fire and breakfast in the lounge or dining room had a great choice. The setting for the hotel is perfect with great walks and drives up stunning Glen Lyon nearby.
The lady owner also made sure everything ran smoothly and nothing was too much trouble. Even Archie our cocker spaniel was made to feel at home in the bar and lounge.
This was a lovely break and we will return.

Yes, this is off the beaten track - just - but this sumptuous hotel makes the short detour worthwhile. This Hotel scores highly in hospitality, comfort, individuality, professionalism and breakfast. It is a detour that we shall be making again.
