To be found just off a major road intersection (roundabout) a few minutes north of the Tyne Tunnel. Loads of car park space which is shared with the adjacent Brewers Fayre restaurant.

Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean throughout. Not particularly noisy, despite major road proximity and us leaving the window open overnight. We had a room on the upper floor overlooking the car park. Hardly heard the neighbours, with a decent night's sleep resulting. No air-conditioning present, which might be a snag in high summer. Bathroom spotlessly clean; bath with shower over. We thought bed mattress a bit below the Premier Inn standard but nonetheless OK.

Food can be obtained next door at the Brewers Fayre restaurant. Standard pub type fare of a good standard and we never had to book a table, despite our stay being over a weekend.

The hotel is served by a very good network of roads which will connect you with much of the North Tyneside and nearby coastal attractions. In fact, I have said it before, but I think Northumberland generally is a little known tourist gem.

All in all , a very good experience and recommended.

Not usually a fan of Travel Lodge/Premier Inn type hotels ; but I was impressed with many aspects of this Premier Inn.
The guy on reception Andrew(?) was very welcoming and made us feel at home within 10 seconds of walking through the door. The room was large, scrupulously clean and comfortable.
The adjacent ' Brewers fayre ' pub served very nice meals and a great breakfast.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my grandson,it is a typical premier inn, clean and comfortable with friendly and helpful reception staff. Not too long a walk to the nearest metro station and only a short journey into newcastle or to the coast.when not using the metro the taxi firm blue line provided excellent service and very reasonable rates.
We had breakfast in the adjacent pub/restaurant and an evening meal, again the staff were friendly and helpful.
Will stay again if visiting the area

Great location just off the A19. Clean bedroom and bathroom lovely white towels and crisp white bed linen 4star standard. Staff helpful and food at the Brewers Fayre next door was great. Would definitely recommend this and at £29 a night great value. Stayed two nights as we were visiting family in Gosforth.

Good spacious room with everything necessary for relaxing stay. Having booked ahead good value. Restaurant near bye offered good service. Hotel located convenient to A1, making this good location for those travelling either North or South. First time in this area meant everything in area had fresh appeal. Felt this was nice City. .

Nice hotel, comfortable room, good parking and very quiet. A bit expensive for the location, paid for breakfast on top as we wanted to eat with other family members staying with us. Had a snack in the restaurant, very enjoyable.

Hotel in itself is reasonable, clean comfortable rooms and generally friendly welcoming staff. Problem arises with the associated restaurant facilities. Booked in for dinner for table of 6 plus infant and majority of food was completely inedible over cooked and dried out after waiting 90 minutes to be served despite several enquiries. Manager initially avoided complaint sending waitress back with messages, after much insistence we were rewarded with her presence and although seemingly embarrassed she was in total denial any problem existed. Would use this hotel again, but in future will arrange to eat elsewhere.
