I have been visiting this cafe regularly for over 25 years and I think the ladies running it now are doing an excellent job. The home made cakes are superb! Great coffee too. There's no finer place to be on a sunny day than outside on the terrace looking out over the sea. Love it here.

I have visited the Old Mill three times recently and not been at all disappointed. It is in such a fantastic location on the beach at Wembury . Such a historic building.

Good selection of locally sourced foods and cooked on the premises. The soup was served piping hot with lovely fresh bread or a savoury scone from the local bakery. The scones were so light and fluffy and served warm. I think that the prices charged were reasonable for the excellent quality of the food served.

There is a good choice of gluten free products.

The staff were extremely helpful on each occasion and very polite and friendly. I shall miss this lovely place when it has limited opening in the winter.

Chosen for its location as the midpoint for a scenic coastal walk, we arrived on a busy lunchtime having been caught in a series of heavy showers. Having been turned away from other venues in the past for being 'too wet' the welcome here could not have been better. We were able to leave waterproofs hanging by the door and the stone floor meant our wet boots were not a problem, and we were then served steaming bowls of delicious homemade soup, fresh cheese scones & pasties. Even the wet dog was welcomed - but I'd love to return on a sunny dry day.

We found the staff very helpful, the setting right down on Wembury beach is beautiful and the food was well cooked and presented, a cut above the average beach cafe.
