We returned to this great hotel for the second time this year, and of course we were not disappointed. This is a family run hotel with Heike and Günther in charge and present more or less all the time. We had a triple room with a veranda this time, with enough space for the three of us and our luggage.

If you want a perfect holiday, stay at the Panorama. Breakfast is super, the afternoon snack delicious and just enough to get you going until dinnertime. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean and very well taken care of, and the spa department is luxurious. Even the parking garage (free for guests!) is clean and new and bright.

Heike and Günther (or Simone) will help you with ski cards, table reservations or other needs. And if you stay here: Try the dinner which is served twice a week, the food is superb, the wine is excellent and the price is very reasonable.

The hotel is located very close to a chair lift which will bring you directly to the slopes. Some say Arlberg is the best alpine skiing area in the world. That might or might not be true, but with 90 + lifts and 320 km of slopes, we never ran out of options.

We had a great time at the Panorama, and will be back next year. See you!

Room Tip: All rooms are nice, but the front rooms with a balcony are maybe even better.

This is the second time we have been to the hotel with friends and everything was just superb again, our friends just loved the comfort of the hotel. The staff are excellent and Heike, Gunther & Simone catered for all our needs. Definitely will be back.

This hotel ran by the Grabher family is simply excellent value for money. Although not a 5 star hotel, the professionalism of ALL the staff is 5 star and the overall feeling is that of getting very close to 5 star. My son and I liked it also in that it's just off the main road, so really peaceful and very close to the lift system. OK, it's about a 7 - 8 minute stroll to the centre, but that's more than fine to walk off your meal!

The rooms were huge, wifi was excellent. I did not use the solarium, but my son did and he liked it. Great underground garage.

Everything people have already written about the attentiveness and willingness of staff to please is true, and you can read previous reviews for more details. I'd add the following which hopefully will be useful to some . . .

Set dinners on Tuesdays and Fridays are 3 courses and very good value at €30 - harder to eat cheaper than that in Lech, if not impossible. On all other nights you have to eat out. Most resort restaurants are traditionally Austrian, but there are a couple of pizza/pasta places, and try Fux for a really different, actually rather trendy urban bar and restaurant if you want a real change.

There is a free afternoon snack served daily in the lounge/ bar between 3.30 and 5 and they'll bring you a tea or coffee too if you want. Normally one savoury snack (e.g. quiche) and one sweet (e.g. cake or strudel) - nice touch. Note that the bar is tiny, with limited stock, but cosy and friendly.

You can also pour yourself a tea in the spa area if you wish, and chill out before dinner. This area is very nicely appointed, though there is no pool.

The hotel is a brisk 10 minutes walk from the town centre and the main lifts, though only a few minutes from one of the smaller chairlifts. However, there is a mini bus that stops literally at the front of the hotel, that runs up to the cable car hourly and more frequently at the beginning of the day. No need to lug your gear up the slight incline towards the village. The mini bus is free during the day but costs c.€4.50 at night. Although some say you can ski right to the backdoor, this is a slight exaggeration, as a road needs to be crossed and that still leaves a steep, rather perilous last 30 metres. We tried it once and regretted it. Lift passes are issued right in the hotel if you wish - very handy.

Overall we would stay here again and have no hesitation recommending it to others. The owners are charming and very hands on.

This hotel in Lech is highly recommended. The rooms are big, clean, comfortable and with enough storage space for winter clothes. Breakfast is delicious, service is swift, polite and friendly, and dinner served on tuesdays and fridays are very good. Heike and Günther helped us with ski passes, ski school, reservation of tables at restaurants in Lech and several other things. The afternoon snack is just what you need after a day of skiing and keeps you going until dinnertime.

There is a 5 minute walk to the nearest ski lift, and you can actually ski directly back to the hotel if you know where to go. The little blue city bus (nr 5) will take you to the city centre and back, free of charge.

We were two adults travelling with two of our kids, aged 17 and 23, and one room was actually big enough to accommodate all of us. The free wifi helped us staying in contact with friends and family. The overall quiet and nice atmosphere was very much to our liking - we had a great time in Lech and at the Panorama, and will definitely come back if we return to Lech.

We have returned to this hotel in Lech for 3 years now, and for many reasons. Mrs Grabher keeps her caring eyes on everything, ensuring a personal and quiet atmosphere .Extremely good breakfasts, nice dinners on fridays and tuesdays. Rooms are utterly clean and comfortable, a wellness area offers hammam and sauna. And they have a very practical underground parking
area. Austria does not come much better than this.

As seasoned travellers my husband and I place great emphasis on the type of accommodation we stay in, no matter where we visit. We are currently on a family vacation in Lech, Austria and staying at the Hotel Panorama. Gunther and his wife Heike and their team provide a level of service that is exemplary, with every request made satisfied beyond what we would have ever expected. The Hotel itself is genuinely warm and inviting with a lovely fusion of traditional Alpine style with modern touches. Each afternoon after a great day skiing we were warmly greeted and provided with delicious afternoon snacks such as lasagne, vegetable soup or veal sausage plus scruptuous cakes. It was a chance to kick back and chat to other travellers too. The breakfast each morning was superb, including Bircher Muesli, a variety of cereals, juices, fresh fruit, eggs cooked any way you want them and a vast array of fresh homemade breads, cheeses and yogurts. Location wise it could not be faulted as hire equipment (clothing hire not available) is within 5 minutes walk, as are most chair lifts. Our rooms were generously proportioned with a stunning view to the alps from the balcony. The beds were dreamily comfortable and the bathroom with a deep long bath. Also their "wellness centre" is a perfect way to finish your prior to dinner, with sauna, steam room and relaxation area, a relaxing haven! We will definitely stay at Hotel Panorama when we return.
