My husband and I went Tuesday 11th August with Ian and Dave for the half day village trip. We can highly recommend as we had a brilliant time and the icing on the cake was the half way stop where we talked to the lovely local lady who supplied everyone with fresh fruit.

Really interesting trip (full day Famagusta trip), very informative, very interesting. Make sure you book with the correct tour company (original Red Bus) and not the pale imitations who look VERY similar, be warned. Would have liked a bit longer at the beach but understand why that is not possible. You will not spend your money on a better trip. We had our two teenage kids with us (16 and 14) and they were also enjoyed it, no mean feat that. The ghost town of Vhrosha has to be seen to be believed. Book on, you wont regret it.

I hadn't visited Famagusta in nearly 20 years and wanted to return and this time take my two teenage sons. The Red Bus offered a fun way to do this. I emailed through the website and booked from the UK, all correspondence was swift and efficient. The day itself was very well organised with two lovely guys looking after us. Can highly recommend this trip but make sure you take plenty of bottled water and factor 50!

Myself, my husband, my 11 year old daughter, my friend and her husband and their 11 and 10 year old children went on the 3 hour village tour with Alan and Helen (driver). It was very good!! Everyone enjoyed it, saw lovely views, learned alot about the Cypriot history, had a lovely stop at a little farm shop that offered complimentary fruit to try (and a clean toilet, refreshments you can buy too). I would advise everyone to wear sunglasses though as the wind can sting your eyes after a bit, and a towel to put on the seats as they get hot. There are a few stops on the way where you can take photos - on the whole a brill day out and great value for money.
