We took the 3 hour village tour and it was absolutely fantastic. Alan the tour guide was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the island and I really liked the fact he kept checking that my 2 year old daughter was ok. My 9 year old son also throughly enjoyed the tour. I would 100% recommend this tour as a must to anybody wanting to know more about the island.

Thank you so much for a great morning tour.

We booked this tour after reading some rave reviews on trip advisor and we were certainly not disappointed. This has to be a must for anyone visiting Cyprus it is not only one of the most informative trips we have been on but we all had a great laugh. Our tour guide Ian kept us entertained with the his story with several amusing stories thrown in. We visited Famagusta town where we spent a couple of hours to either shop or visit the various sites then on to Varosha the ghost town then onto the beach to see the turtles. Would definitely recommend this. Not to forget our fantastic driver Dave!!!

We were a little unsure about booking the all day trip due to having a hot, whingy 6 year old but looking back, so glad we did!

We were picked up from outside McDonald's and after a few stop off to pick more people up, we were off to Famagusta. In the way, the guide explained the history behind the war between the Greeks and the Turkish and explained why they had to take our passports. The trip was nice and scenic and we went through a few small towns before arriving at the border where no photography was allowed. We were then taken to the middle of Famagusta where we were allowed two hours to get off the bus and look around. There were cafes that had the red bus sign which meant that if you showed your leaflet, you got discount. The shops there were not great unless you like handbags and clothes but the ruins where amazing to visit. After getting back on the bus we travelled to the beach where we got to swim for an hour (ish). Apparently it's likely for there to be turtles but we didn't see any.
We arrived back a little hot and sunburnt but it was definitely worth the trip!

Anyone thinking of going on this trip, firstly make sure you choose the "ORIGINAL RED BUS" as there are others avaliable but this is the original and THE BEST! We went on the Famagusta trip...it was amazing. The guide, Alan sure knows his stuff! Crossing the boarder was an experience. The city of Famagusta is beautiful and there are plenty of bargains to be had...lot's of copy designer labels! The day is then finished off on the very beautiful Constania beach with it's clear blue sea, you may even see the turtles if you're lucky. Is was amazing to be so close to the forgotten hotels. I would recommend this trip to anyone. The last time we were in Cyprus we went on the Village tour which I'd equally as good.

We did the Famagusta / Ghost Resort tour and really enjoyed it. The day started at ten am, and we had a British tour guide who only spoke English. The guide was very knowleable and told us lots of interesting facts about the Island and the invasion in 1974. We had a couple of hours free time in Famagusta walled city, there are plenty of shops and landmarks to view as well as plenty of places to eat. The people were very friendly and helpful. After the visit to the city we went to Constantia beach which used to be the largest resort in Cyprus until the invasion. We saw the ghost town known as Verosha which we were told means Ghost Town. We spent almost two hours on the beach getting more information and free time to swim in the Med. we could also view the two miles of deserted hotels an the sea front. All in all this is a very good tour and I would recommend it.
