We have spent a cosy evening at Stamna, enjoyed the excellent food and the perfect local atmosphere. The lamb souvlaki was very gently prepared,not dry and not burned rapidly, as it happens at many places. The lamb stifado was slowly and very carefully made, with heart and care. The staff was polite and we had an interesting discussion with the owner, Andreas. If you want to eat huge amounts of uncharacteristic food, then it is better if you stay at your hotel and enjoy "All Inclusive". However, if you are interested to taste the cuisine of the island and the local atmosphere, to meet local people, then this restaurant is highly recommended. Stamna is located not exactly in the centre of the town, but is worth to take a short walk.
