I stumbled across this little gem a couple of years ago and go back as often as I can.
It's very out of character with many restaurants in Ayia Napa, in a good way - it's like a lively village restaurant with a small but regular clientèle and an owner with time for everyone. Not to mention great food and a very pleasant atmosphere.
The restaurant is a five minute walk away from the square in Ayia Napa, just down the round from Limelight. Moonlight is a small-ish, authentic Greek restaurant, with a good selection of local fresh cuisine and a genuine atmosphere.
It comfortable sits 40 or 50 people, but is rarely so full it's uncomfortable - at the same time it's never empty. Popular with locals, returning guests and new guests - everyone is treated like a friend by Mike the owner.
