Being a big meat lover helps to evaluate dishes. Had opportunity to travel the world to try meat in different countries and enjoy cultural traditions in cooking meat.
I can assure you that the best restaurants will never be on the main street, you will find them when you get lost in the city. True gems are hidden!
We went to Ayia Napa and were looking for a dinner place, but everything looked to commercial and appealing. I longed for something very Cypriot, very authentic and boom - we found this little Tony's Taverna place, which was like being somewhere in grandparents country side house.
Super cheap, extremely delicious and huge pieces of everything! Can say that it was the best lamb I have ever eaten - so soft, cooked for 8 hours in the real wood oven topped with aubergine/tomato sauce. Delicious...
Can still remember the taste! Highly recommend this place to everyone, who is pensioned about meat!
