I stayed at hotel with my children, Oct 27th Half-term week. Very pleased with Hotel, Room good size, Bathroom had good lighting, Very clean, Staff friendly, Great selection of Good food (except fruit juice) Beautiful pool area, Peaceful private beach, Fantastic location on Nissi beach.

We paid for B&B, because we booked early we were automatically upgraded to H/B
Our weather was clear blue skies with temp 28, we had 1 windy day.

Love to go back on day :)

Just back from staying at the Adams beach hotel. The first thing we noticed about the place were the <dirty grey towels> in the bathroom. They looked and felt about 10 years old with the seams at each end frayed. We have stayed in hotels all over the world and never seen anything like them.
The only five star bit about the hotel was the Glass House Restaurant, I think it was the only reason we did'nt starve. The service we received from Cleanthis and Ramona, who looked after us on the three nights we dined there was exceptional.CleanthisD pointed out the best wines and also advised us on the menu.Ramona kept our glasses full all through the courses and thank you to the chef the food was excellent. I don't think we will stay at the hotel but will definitly dine in the Glass House next time we are in Ayia Napa.

Dear Guests,

Thanks for staying with us.
We are also really disappointed that you have not enjoyed your time in our hotel. We have carefully checked all of our beach and bath towels and we would like to ensure you that all of the old and not in shape towels have been sent for recycling.

This hotel needs to dramatically change things or risk dropping even further in its Tripadvisor ratings. Interestingly it has dropped from 44th to 50th out of 102 hotels in Ayia Napa since We booked to stay 4 weeks ago. It is very short sighted of the hotel management to ignore points past guests have made to improve the hotel. I was a little apprehensive I had chosen the wrong hotel from the past Tripadvisor comments but felt I would try it.
They boast they are good value, yet you have to pay 32.50 euros per item to use the wifi. You have to pay 10 euros to use the safe, I mean come on!!! I have NEVER paid to use a safe in a hotel. The breakfast is ok but the coffee is foul, fruit juice is disgusting, it tastes like cheap squash, again, what 5 star hotel does not serve FRESH fruit juice? The pool is in dire need of retiling, large areas of tiles missing from pool, one area I cut my toe on! The indoor pool looks like somewhere people go to die, it's depressing and massively dated. The entrance area leading to the piano bar is like walking through the 1990's with trellis, fake plants, a god awful painting, a fountain display that doesn't work properly (some of the 'bubble stye' fountains spurt sideways) and there is a dry ice machine that gurgles dry ice pathetically over a small area of the fountain. Yep you heard me correctly, dry ice! The seating is old, dusty and needs throwing. The lift which would afford lovely views over the pool and sea is obscured by glazing which has 'blown' meaning it is full of condensation and you can't see out of it! The singers in the Piano bar are awful, so bad that it was actually quite funny. The rooms are ok but the bed was dreadfully hard, my daughter was on a put you up bed that collapsed if you sat on the edge/side of it, with wheels I can only describe as roman chariots blades, we all cut our feet on them. The style of wardrobes are again, dated. The curtains were filthy, full of dust. Bathrooms showing their age, need re-grouting and our shower head needed replacing. The worse thing has to be the attitude of the staff though, which is dreadful, rude and arrogant. I have been to Cyprus 11 times, for the weather (obviously) but also because the Cypriots are such welcoming, charming people. Had I stayed here first time, I don't think I would have come back. We tried to politely advise them that that the matters Tripadvisor re-viewers had commented on really need addressing, one front desk member just shrugged his shoulders & smirked at us. The breakfast manager looked blankly when we complained about the god awful juice and the night staff were simply useless! They don't seem to be able to help or action anything. The location of the hotel is beautiful, set on the edge of Nissi beach within 10 minute walk of Macronissos beach. It's a real shame the management of Adams beach don't get on top of the issues that are reducing their rating. Lets face it, if they did, they could probably put their price up a little and boasting they are good value is hopeless if people continue to complain about the hotel. Napa Mermaid was only 100 euros more for us, which if you remove the 42.50 euros for safe and wifi at Adams, only puts it 57.50 euros more, thats not a massive difference at all! I wish I had booked that hotel instead. It's a shame as I can see Adams Beach would have been awesome, in the 1990's, now she is in dire need of an update and the staff seriously need to change their attitude, they don't even smile!

I find it hard to adequately express our disappointment at the quality of this 5* hotel and the treatment we received. We had trouble with the air conditioning and had to suffer two nights without it working. Even when operational it was at best barely adequate. The attitude of the front desk staff was appalling. After day six we arrived at our room to find a letter saying we had exceeded our credit limit and would we settle our account. Despite my husband's protestations and complaints about their behaviour we had to settle our account on four separate occasions. Our room was dusty and there was sand on the floor most days. The bath leaked from under the side panel causing the floor to be wet when the shower was used. Because we did not use the room mini bar the bar staff failed to stock our tea and coffee facilities. The catering was at best mediocre. Breakfast was like being corralled into an enclosure to avail oneself of the buffet. It closed at 10:00am prompt. The fruit juice, and I use the term with caution, could only be described as a coloured liquid. We tried it once only... There was no fresh fruit other than diced and rather tasteless and bland specimens. There was one good restaurant on the 5th floor accessed by a dedicated lift. This lift did not work so one had to go up to the fourth floor by one of the hotel lifts and then walk up the last flight of stairs. The pool dedicated to our 'deluxe wing' had a poor filtration system. Despite it being used infrequently a pool attendant had to remove scum from the side walls approximately every hour. The sun shades were too small resulting in people having to move their sunbeds every half hour or seek shade from neighbouring buildings. The SPA had a very worn out feeling. It is positioned below ground and had little or no air circulation. It's dedicated pool was empty of water. On the day we arrived we asked if we would be able to stay in our room on our last day until 5:30pm. In the event we were required to leave by 12 noon. We were told there were changing facilities near the SPA. We looked at these and can only assume that the management of a supposedly 5* hotel had not visited them in recent years. In the end we managed to persuade the SPA attendant to use their facilities. On the plus side the SPA staff were excellent, kind, thoughtful and very professional. However, all in all the hotel was dreadful and we would never, ever, ever go there again. What a relief to be home.

Dear Quests,

Thank you for sharing a review for our hotel. I would like to ensure you that we have taken into considerations all of your comments and we will take all necessary actions in order to provide you and all of our guests with the best possible services.

Of course there are some things that cannot change and we do not want to change them, for example the size of the sun shades (umbrellas) in our deluxe wing. Most of our guests are visiting our hotel and our island to enjoy beach holidays under the sun, so we are not willing to block the sun.

Thanks for staying in our Hotel.
Kind Regards,

Absolutely love this hotel could quite easily go nowhere else!
We stayed late sept. to early oct. With a mixture of family and friends. Every body was catered for superbly. The staff here are really nice and nothing is a problem. During our stay we got married at the hotel which was just amazing, everything was impeccably organised by Katarina the wedding co-ordinator even though the next day was her own wedding. (Congrats to you Katarina).
We will undoubtably return and I can say on behalf of our friends and family they will too.
Thank you for making our holiday and wedding a special time.

We have just returned from our third visit to Adams Beach, as ever the staff were attentive and courteous, the location of the hotel is excellent and the superb bus and taxi services allow easy access to nearby Ayia Napa and Protaras . We would recommend the inner facing sea view rooms on the fourth floor, room 432. Sunbeds are all ways available, the negative sides we encountered were the condition of the pool floor by the Vitaminos Pool bar and the breakfast layout in particular if requiring bacon, extra charges for WI FI if required not becoming of an upmarket hotel.

Went to a family wedding in a small chapel on the beach and despite my initial doubts it was superbly arranged and officiated by an Anglican vicar.
The hotel was superb, cool and elegant with very attentive friendly staff.
The downside was the serving of the cooked bacon, eggs and omelet counter at breakfast. All labour intensive tasks and valiantly undertaken by a harassed single member of staff. It was a real bottleneck in the serving of breakfast.
The other downside is that WiFi access has to be purchased as a rather expensive extra which is strange. A holiday guide agreed saying that most other hotels and even local restaurants supply it free.
I would certainly return to this hotel.
