Stayed here for a week at the end of Sept beginning of October. Amazing food but the breakfast was a little disappointing. Great location, right on a private beach with free sun lounger rentals. The hotel restaurants were mediocre. The Greek was by far the best so would suggest booking that one but felt rushed at all the others. Actually had a four course meal thrust upon us in 40 minutes at the Italian. I was also disappointed by the amount of cracked tableware and glasses plus I found a lot of dirty plates amongst the 'clean' ones we were supposed to use. We were all inclusive but the fridge in the room was never re-stocked. We received one complimentary bottle of water for the room (between two) and we're told if we wanted another we would have to pay, which annoyed me. Enjoyed my stay but do not thing it's a 4 star plus. It's a 4 at a push.

This is the first time we have gone all inclusive so we were abit nervous but the food was great! There was always lots of choice and you are able to use the other 3 restaurants ( Italian, Greek, and Japanese) on site aswell as the main buffet restaurant. Didn't go to the Greek but the Italian was lovely and the Japanese was superb!

Plenty of space around all of the swimming pools, always clean, my 3 year old loved the kids pool with its slides etc.

The hotel has its own private beach with free sun loungers and parasols but we preferred the Macronissos beach thats next to it, absolutely stunning with white sand and clear blue sea, sun loungers and parasols are two and a half euros each.

Staff on reception were always friendly and helpful, especially the man with the glasses

Room was always clean with fresh towels every day, you also get a clean beach towel every day. Only gripe is that the sofa bed was really uncomfortable.

Ayia Napa is only 10mins away on the bus.

The Thomas Cook entertainment team work really hard and are great with the kids, my little one didn't fancy kids club but by the end of the holiday Blake had him up dancing on the stage having a great time so special thanks to him and Shades! All of the staff are lovely and so friendly, Maria in restaurant, Stavrula, Laura (Entertainment), George the manager, I could go on forever.

We had a great time and will be back next year!

Visited Dome Beach hotel in a group of 23 including 4 children and a baby for a friends wedding.

Wedding
was amazing, so beautiful set up very well. The photographer was amazing and the pictures are some of the best wedding photos I have ever seen definitely worth the money for a big package. The actual ceremony area could have been cleaned up a bit more e.g the beach had fag butts and a noticeable amount of rubbish on also there was people around taking photos of us! the planner did tell them to move on but they are in the background of some of the photos which spoils them a bit. its worth paying for a seperate area after the ceremony before night as we saw other wedding parties hanging around the pool inbetween the ceremony and dinner. we also had dinner our own bar and a dj on the beach i am aware that these costs are 'hidden' and the family paid extra for these privaleges we also had to pay extra 30 euros each for drink on that day! every aspect needs to be talked about with the travel company. my friend said that Thomas Cook when booking were awful and told them nothing but in Cyprus they were amazing. there are extras that can be bought there such as stones with names on for placecards. they also set up anything additional you want to bring along everything went so smoothly on the day it was unreal. the food we got for dinner was actually good and the puddings were amazing.

Location
The location was quite isolated with only two quite bars and a supermarket at the end of the road if wandering around to other places as night is your thing its not in the best location, however the main town and clubbing square is a five min taxi which is average 2 euros each and they can take 7.

Food
was absolutely terrible! the restaurant is very small and there was a small choice of about 8 dishes there was lots of cold salads and dishes but i did not like them! there was a kids section but only one thing changed every day and it was mostly chips spag bol pasta potato and it would swap chicken nuggets of fish fingers. the snack bars open when the restaurant was shut looked awful it was really soggy and was clearly lunch leftovers.

Drink
two drinks allowed at a time in all inclusive they take a lot of drinking to get drunk tho! beers are carlsberg and keo. there was 4 drinks in the fridge that is in the room they dont refill the fridge. past 12 drinks are chargeable.

All Inclusive
everything was included exception of imported drinks, the all inclusive stopped at 12 bottled water had to be bought.

rooms
very good we had bottom floor rooms next to reception 20 to 37 I think they are the best rooms others had to get stairs or lift to theirs! the bed was massive and the maids did an excellent job of cleaning! we asked for extra pillows and within half hour they were in the room. they also gave us a ticket for beach towels to get fresh everyday. they asked if we wanted to upgrade but we didnt there are rooms available with conservatories backing on the the pool and rooms with small pools outside the rooms that were more like villas.

Entertainment
was horrific but funny. not the usual holiday entertainment shows and performances it very much relied on audience participation things such as quizzes team games the reps were funny but It became rather annoying the same reps walking round night after night asking to get involved. when the reps did do songs and cabaret we went to a different bar it was ear deafening and rubbish!

Pool
very clean, sunbeds and beds around the outside didnt get full but i dont think the hotel was very busy

beach
has its own private beach with sunbeds the sand was very dusty and the sea was dirty a short walk to the other side of the beach markonissos was clear blue sea and lush sand but you have to pay for the sunbeds. they also do water sports.

Room Tip: our room was 21 was a great location

Wow what a hotel and what a wedding. We recently stayed at the Dome Beach from the 15th September 2013 to the 30th September 2013 (Our Wedding on the 19th September 2013 room 241– total of 33 people including 8 children) and I can honestly say that it was an amazing experience. Our expectations were all over the place before we left the UK due to previous Trip Advisor Reports but the Dome didn’t disappoint.

The Wedding – What a day absolutely amazing. We opted for the Garden Beach Venue (right on the beach) and it was defiantly the right choice, the venue was breathtaking and the decoration and overall layout was amazing. I have to thank Jules, Jenny and Angela for helping us make the day a dream come true. When we first arrived we did have a few meetings with the hotel and Thomas Cook regarding the details of the wedding so it eased our mind knowing that everything would be taken care of for us on the day, all we had to do was tell them what we wanted such as flowers (upgraded) photos (upgraded) and DVD of the day (upgraded) and they would arrange it all for us.
I would 100% recommend upgrading your package to include the extra’s as the quality of the DVD and photos were amazing. Ok you have to pay extra for them but after all its your wedding day and you’re only going to do it once, so we defiantly recommend it as you won’t be disappointed.

When you do book the Beach Garden Venue you have it for the evening as well as the day (so it’s your private party on the beach) it is amazing I cannot say enough about it. When the sun goes down and your family and close friends are dining and dancing helping you celebrate your big day on the beach you cannot ask for nothing more.

We used the hotel salon and again they done everything for us hair, makeup and nails, again nothing is too much trouble and if you take a hair design into the salon they will do it, truly amazing. Instead of taking favours from the UK across to Cyprus we hired a Candy Cart (you can do this locally Thomas Cook or the Hotel can do this for you). This was a really crowd pleaser, it looked amazing, you can chose your own candy/sweets and it went down a treat. Highly recommend. We also hired a DJ for the evening entertainment Angela can sorted this out for you and she was fab, we told her what we wanted played (including our first dance) and she accommodated us, again recommend.

The whole day was breathtaking and we would defiantly recommend this hotel for a wedding, not to mention the fact that on the last but one day we had a candle light dinner on the beach courtesy of the hotel and again the staff and manager made us feel like celebrities. The meal was lovely and also including a hotel gift.

(if you have any questions regarding the wedding please ask us and we will be glad to answer you and help you out).

The Hotel & Holiday – In total we had 33 people attend our wedding with the majority staying at the Dome Beach everyone had an amazing time, children through to adults. The Younger children had plenty to do from the pool (kids pool which was brilliant) through to kids club (Thanks to Laura, Peter, Boris, Jade etc…for making our childs stay fab) tennis courts, snooker room the list goes on. Every child who came with us loved it, not to mention the adults who had a brilliant time too. The food was excellent plenty to choose from a variety of different cuisines. This did worry me from past reviews, but we all found the food really nice, they have different meal night too, such as Greek, Italian and Japanese and all hit the spot def recommend them. (You do have pre-book them at reception the day before you want to eat).

There are pools and all in good clean order, pool man cleaning daily. The Dome’s private Beach is right on your door step which do free sun loungers and umbrella’s but the private beach was a bit rocky for the children so we walked less than 3 mins away to the public beach which was amazing and links right onto the hotel as well., so it was a win win with the beaches both lovely and clean.

Evening entertainment was good, ok it could be a bit better but overall we were not disappointed at all, plenty for children (disco, parrot show etc..) and for adults we had Bingo, Quizzes and adult humour games which were fab, the entertainers worked very long hours and done a great job.

Ayia Napa town is a short bus trip away less than 3 euro’s or a taxi approx 8-10 Euros (even less depending on your negotiation skills). Plenty to see and do, we even done the water park and black pearl for the children and both were amazing cannot fault Cyprus overall it was amazing.

Overall out of 10 id give the Dome a 10, we were very sad to leave and we all have the holiday blues, we will defiantly be booking again (hopefully next year) and maybe even renew our wedding vows just because we loved the day so much. Thanks to all at the hotel for making our Wedding and Holiday a dream come true.

I have never been on an all inclusive holiday before, but we booked direct and arranged our own flights as party of a wedding party. The location, the quality of the hotel, the facilities and the food were all very good.

We had an issue the first night with smelly pillows, which took some sorting, and the air conditioning in the room was not great, but after that it was a really great 8 days.

I think the price is quite high for what it is, but you can't fault the place for what it provides. What did surprise me was the quality of the food in the main dining area, which was always great. The "A La Carte" restaurants were slightly disappointing in that the Japanese and Greek restaurants didn't really offer an authentic meal experience. The Greek Meze, for instance, was quite disappointing. But, I guess it's the crow it caters of, and would suggest that's why they weren't that busy each night.

The only other comment I would make is if you getting married here. You are one of maybe three a day getting married so do not expect any special treatment.

Room Tip: We chose a standard room on the basis of not spending much time in it and this was fine. We had a ro...

The hotel was great, food brilliant with plenty of choice. Beware if booking with thomas cook, there service is very poor compared to their competition. Managing your booking online is a bit of a mare, as you have to manage your flight and hotel bookings desperately, not what I'd expect from a package holiday, not very user. I received so many emails advising of flight schedule changes I had no idea what time my flight was, had to phone them the day before as given different info from two different booking sites. After checking in on line still had to Que at desk and check in again as no bag drop area open. Entertainment run by thomas cook again very poor, played cards most nights we were that bored. Then to top it all had almost a 3 hour delay coming home. So spent the day at the airport ( not cheap), oh thomas cook did give each person effected 3 Euro, thanks , brought a bottle of water , a bit of in insult really. Poor teenage girls on our flight had run out of money and had to starve for the day. Hotel was lovely, two pools salt water, great beaches, and close to the night life, not close enough to disturb a very peaceful and relaxing holiday though. Rooms were very spacious, I had a family room with a sea view, great waking up over the beach. Overall would definitely go back to the dome beach but would never use thomas cook again.

Room Tip: Get a sea view, better view and quieter area of hotel.
