Where can I begin! Wow! We were greeted by a lovely man at reception who soon took our suitcase from there and then took them to our rooms after we sorted out where we were staying! He kindly explained where everything was in our room and then left us too it! It was gorgeous! A deluxe pool view we really couldn’t fault it! the following day! We went and had breakfast! Which was really nice! (definitely recommend the cumbland sausages!) Food all round was great! Definitely something for everyone! The pool was kept clean and tidy and new towels were replenished everyday! The allocated sun beds worked really well for us! And we didn’t have to stress about getting up early to grab a nice spot! they really have tried to make this a stress free holiday! The snackaria is great! a lot different to what you’d normally find in hotels where a tub of ice cream and pizza is all you would get! Here you’ve got sandwhiches which you can have toasted, doughnuts, muffins, pizza! The evening entrainment was great! Personally we enjoyed the acoustic music in the pool bar! But can’t fault the New entertainment hall theyve put in! And evening staff serving drinks and attending to tables were lovely and friendly! Always ensuring you were okay and if you needed another drink! Especially Peter! We were surprised with how much was included in the all inclusive! We love our cocktails and this is definitely the place to go if you want an endless amount of those! With a great selection! I honestly couldn’t fault it here! Everyone works so hard to keep you happy! Thank you for making our holiday great!

Definitely would not recommend it. Our so called deluxe land view room was over looking a car park shipping crates and motor way nothing deluxe about it at all.we asked to be moved which we did eventually after a two day wait. Room was noisey with traffic. We where eventually moved to the bay which we didn't really want all of our wedding party was in the main hotel. The waiter in the bay was miserable. What we paid for 11 night's was a rip of definitely won't be returning entertainment terrible.i spoke to a Thomas cook rep to be told it looks like the photo I had of our so called deluxe room was a photo from the hotel in paphos brilliant as we were in aiya napa

Just on our last day after a great 2 weeks at this hotel ,this hotel is a wedding venue with weddings every day Our’s included, the other weddings did not affect our holiday attall.the hotel is ideal for a wedding and holiday .lovely gardens and great pools ,the sunbed allocation is a great idea and it works but the sun beds are cramped together not leaving any privacy.family pool and kids pool separated Is a good idea.only ate at the greats and garibaldi ,American ,as well as the buffet would say the greats ala,Carte was our favourite.we had a special meal given to us in the garibaldi Italian ala, carte disappointing hot soup cold main .the American diner was brilliant and all the staff were great yes you do have to wait abit for your meal but it’s worth it.the bars were ok the staff could use more training in interacting with customers we were never asked if we wanted a drink by the pool as all they could do was pick up glasses for a 5star hotel this is unacceptable .we had a great room which was cleaned as it should be bar from not replacing tea milk and cups(had to ring reception.all in all this wedding/holiday was brilliant from the wedding staff at the hotel and the Thomas Cook wedding coordinator Natalie who made go so smoothly.big thank you to all the hotel staff .would definitely recommend this hotel for a wedding.thank you .

I’d go back here tomorrow if I could. Fantastic hotel. Lovely staff. Able to book your sun-bed, so it’s yours for the duration. Lots of places to eat, food’s nice with plenty of different themed nights. Could do with a better gluten free range for those of us who are Coeliac, but they did put on some gf bread for breakfast. We went for a family wedding and that had been arranged really well. A decent range of all inclusive drinks, but again, if you can’t drink beer (coeliac), maybe an alternative like the cider would have been good, as this costs extra - having said that, plenty of spirits, cocktails on offer. Good entertainment venue and then games round the pools. Really well done for kids, but then with adult options too. The ice cream shack was a particularly good touch in the heat. The Greats restaurant and the Asian restaurant were our favourites. We will definitely visit again and would stay here for sure. About a 5 minute walk to the beach and a supermarket next door for any travel/tourist essentials.

Stayed here for a week from 12th September with my boyfriend. As we arrived a man was walking through reception paraletic another man was urinating in the corner by the sunbeds. First impressions weren’t great.
Be aware that there are at least 2 wedding parties a day.
Entertainment and all inclusive finished at 11:30. We knew the all incl would finish at 11:30 but not the entertainment. So be warned, after 11/11:30, there’s literally nothing to do. The entertainment wasn’t great, apart from 1 evening for 1 hour there was a trapeze show.
There are several restaurants that it is impossible to get booked into. So I would advice that on arrival you book your restaurants ASAP otherwise you will not get to eat there.
The diner I heard from everyone was dreadful. We sat in there, ordered and then changed our mind because the feel it gave was horrible too.
The hotel is clean and the rooms are nice.
We wanted a balcony in our room and didn’t realise a french balcony was just sliding doors so next time when booking in a hotel we will have to remember this. We stayed in room 230 which was at the front of the hotel half our View was a brick wall which was rubbish.
Steve, the barmen in the day - Cypriot but from Hackney was lovely. Really friendly guy, done everything with a smile. In terms of area, everything is a cab journey away. I think next time I would stay In Larnaca as Ayia Napa was a bit much. We went Nissi Beach One time and it was packed! So busy that the beech didn’t even look nice, we then went Makronissos beach which was a 10 min walk - was beautiful.
Overall, the hotel was a nice hotel - the entertainment isn’t great and the food is ok

Dear Nickoletta G

Thank you for choosing the Olympic Lagoon Resort in Ayia Napa for your recent holiday to Cyprus.

We really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts and comments about your stay in our hotel in detail.

Thank you for mentioning that the hotel is clean and that you found your room to be 'Nice'.

Of course, we understand your issues raised and in particular the incidents that happened during your arrival. Unfortunately there are no screening methods to use and although not the model we wish to portray , it is indeed hard to control fully and are sorry that you were witness to any unsightly behavior from fellow guests.

We do thank you for for constructive comments as this provides us with valuable information in order for us to continuously improve our services and facilities to our valued guests.

Closing we do hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back to the resort in the near future for a flawless vacation.
