Had high hopes for waterworld and left feeling disappointed. I have been to quite a few waterparks and the promo videos led me to feel that this would be just as good. Unfortunately the abrupt nature of the staff and the queues meant we didn't make the day of it that we wanted. Instead we went back to our hotel and made the most of the pool there instead.

The rides were ok but not sure they were worth the wait. The wave pool again ok but with two teens who were viewed as kids by the lifeguards meant they had to stay behind the 90cm line, both very strong swimmers and better then most adults so that put a downer on their day.
Queues for food were excessive and as you were unable to bring your own meant lots of waiting around.

Firstly, thank you for visiting WaterWorld Waterpark and taking the time to share your thoughts with us which we'd like to address in this response. Many of our visitors like to spend the entire day at the waterpark in order to enjoy all the available facilities as there are more than 20 rides and attractions designed to cater for all visitors. With regards the Wave Pool please accept that safety is and always will be our primary concern at the waterpark and strict enforcement of our safety procedures ensures that everyone who visits Waterworld is within an environment where all possible measures are taken to ensure safety. Our staff are trained to maintain safety procedures at all times and would have made their judgement of how old your family look. There’s no way any waterpark employee is able to judge a visitor’s swimming abilities just by looking at them. If, however, you felt a member of staff did not deal with you or any member of your family courteously then we encourage all visitors to report that behaviour to the management immediately so that the matter can be investigated. As for queues and waiting times these are a common occurrence among all the most popular theme parks around the world which is why we encourage our guests to spend as long as they can with us.

We went to waterworld at the beginning of this month and had a fab time!! We were absolutely exhausted by the end of the day. It’s quite expensive considering it’s not the biggest water park, however it’s great fun and we would go again. Queues were fine and we were never waiting more than 5 mins or so for rides. The lazy river was great to chill out in between running around! Lockers were €7.50 and you got €2 back at the end of the day. Food and drink was expensive, would probably take our own next time.

We visited the water park from the Olympic Lagoon, it was about 5 minutes in a taxi from the resort.

It’s an expensive place to get in it was 130 euros for me my husband and our 7, 4 and 2 year olds. We were also gutted as the prices for food and drink inside coming from a all inclusive resort it was a bit rubbish spending 4.5 euros on a beer.

Lots to do inside even for our two younger children who were too small for most of the slides we just enjoyed the swimming areas. Would highly recommend for a fun day out particular for thrill seeking older children
