Hotel Cala Sant Vicenc

Clean and stylish hotel with friendly staff but lacks the finesse of the past. Food OK, large portions (possibly too large and I do not appreciate raspberry or chocolate sauce on a otherwise satisfactory sweet) limited wine list. Music sedate and fine if you are over 80. Could be so much better with a little thought on menu and ambience. Pity the trattoria has also closed as this offered guests a lightweight alternative. Management, please step up to the plate and put Cala San Vincente back on the cool places to stay at map!

An amazing stay. The hospitality and service standards at this hotel are out of this world. The pool area is great; spotlessly clean and beautiful. The food in the restaurant is gorgeous too accompanied with perfect service. Cannot rate this hotel highly enough and would definitely stay again!

Just returned today following 10 days at the Hotel Cala Sant Vincent. We had been looking for a spot to rest and relax and could not have chosen better. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the pool ( if slightly cool) immaculate. there are more than enough sun loungers to go around for the number of guests in the hotel - even when busy. The rooms are large and spacious and very comfortable. The hotel food was excellent. My only grumble would be that the lunch menu is slightly uninspiring and the portions large for lunchtime especially when it is warm. However the real plus for the hotel is the large number of staff always on hand to help and without exception all are very friendly and helpful. Linda the manager should be proud of the effort she and the hotel staff put into making their guests visits a pleasure. The guests are largely of an older age group but the pleasures of not having children around the pool are not to be sniffed at.
Cala Sant Vincent is a quiet hamlet with lovely beaches (2 minute walk) and 2-3 good restaurants. For those people wishing more to visit both Pollenca and Puerto Pollensa are 10 minutes away by taxi (12 euros)
We had not intended going to the hotel CSV originally but could not see ourselves going anywhere else when we visit Mallorca again.

We had a great relaxing week at this superior hotel. So much effort is made by the lovely staff to ensure that your stay is perfect. Our rooms was spotless, spacious and comfortable and the whole ambience of the hotel encourages you to relax. The food was fabulous, with an excellent comprehensive menu including super Mallorcan dishes. We had a hire car but found that the local bus service took us to most of the places we wanted to visit. A lovely holiday which we want to repeat as soon as possible.

Room Tip: Rooms on pool side get afternoon/evening sun.

...which is something, given that I'm nearly 40. When we stayed, our fellow guests were very much of a 'senior' disposition. This is in no way a bad thing, unless you're in Malorca for the pubs and clubs. If that's the case, you're looking at the wrong part of the Island right now!

The hotel is lovely. What upgrades it from a good hotel to a great one had to be the staff. They were so nice and really helped to make our stay feel special.

The room (junior suite) was a good size and had a balcony overlooking the pool which was a nice view and also caught the late afternoon sun after a hard day of doing nothing beside the pool.

If I was forced at gun point to complain about anything, I'd say that the lunch meal was a little bit on the expensive side for what it was (although all dishes were cooked very well) and the pool was inexplicably cold (maybe their store all their ice cubes in it at night?)

I would certainly come back here again as the sleepy town of Cala Sant Vicenc has some nice little beaches and is also about 10 minutes drive from both Pollenca and Port de Pollenca when good evening meals can be found. I would suggest renting a car though as at 13€ each way, those taxis will bleed you dry! ;-)

Room Tip: As others have said, try and get a pool facing room.

This is my favourite hotel.

My husband and I have stayed here many times, and it is fantastic. We love the peacefulness, the tranquility, the comfort and the friendliness. The quality of the food in the restaurant is first class as is the service. The area is one of the best on the island and nearby Peurto Pollensa and Pollensa are beautiful. Lynda couldn't be more helpful, she is an asset to the Hotel.

Sadly due to the recession, we have not been back for a few years, but this will be our first port of call once we are back on track!

This hotel is extremely well run by its manager, Lynda, who is english and speaks fluent spanish. They think of everything here - wine in the rooms, water in the room every single day, shoe bags, towel bag for the pool (complete with towel, I might add). The toiletries were also lovely and top notch, not cheap stuff.

The pool area is fantastic and everything is spotlessly clean. There was never any leaves or anything in the water and the chlorine levels are obviously checked regularly.

Housekeeping is truly 5 star - no dirt of any kind anywhere.

Breakfast was very good and food in the restaurant also very good.

Staff to mention are Lynda, Jesus, Mariano, Stephanie, Josefina and Ruben - who spoke better english than me.

Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Room Tip: Try to get a room overlooking the pool as the views are breathtaking!
