We were staying at Hotel Univers and directly across the street at the end of the marina we decided to diner at Bitakora. Good service, good food. But you need to be hungry because for diner the only option is to select the "menu" which is a full 3 courses. We ate outside tables on the quay, it was end of July and the temperature was perfect.

We went here for lunch without a reservation and had to wait a long time for a table but once we got one it was very worth it. We had the daily menu and everything we had was pretty good and at a very reasonable cost.

We were in the Bitakora restaurant in February 2014. The location is great, between the marina and fishing port. There are parking areas easily accessible from October to May. In the summer months, there are parking areas in the fishing port. The restaurant decor is simple and modern, very chic, without great ornaments. The view from the dining room upstairs is very nice with the marina, the beach and the bay in the background. We were a group of 12 people, and were assigned an imperial table. The menu of the captain, with a cost of 25 euros does not include drinks, but the value is excellent. The portions are very complete and elegant presentation. As starters, we tried all but the zucchini and liked them a lot. In our group nobody ate rice, so I can not rate it , but tuna , cod and beef and they were very good . The desserts were excellent . The service was exquisite quality . I highly recommend the restaurant, although we have only tested the capitan menu, we have not tried to eat a la carte.

This restaurant is on the far side of the Marina beteen the sports port and the fishing port.
A gentle stroll will take you from Roses centre toward the buildings on the port where Bikatora is situated.
The food is an eclectic mix of seafood and meat, all cooked to a very high standard. A captains or daily menu is offered during the day from 14 euros to 25 euros. Wine and other beverages are priced fairly.
The crispy prawns in romesco sauce are fantastic, and are often included in the captains menu offer.
This year they have some fairly garish green menus in different lanuages which have spoilt the ambiance a little, but dont let that put you off.
The service is excellent and on the days that you can't eat outside for the weather, the restaurant has an airconditioned first floor which overlooks the pretty marina.
Fish of the day is fresh and comes from the fishing port next door.
We will be eating there again on our next visit.

We are in roses 6 or 7 times a year and always visit this restaurant. It is based in the yacht harbour of Roses so unless you know about it, then it would be easy to look at the boats in the harbout but not realise there are 2 restaurants in the yacht harbout about 5 mins walk from the main boulevard of Roses. All you have to do is walk to the end of the car park in the yacht harbour and you are there. We visited again last night and it was lovely and romantic as the restaurant next door had a piano and singer on the terrace playing jazz and old american soft blues. The food in Bitakora is a cut above most of the other restaurants in Roses, as is the service. It is lovely to sit on the Terrace as it is a bit quieter than in the main part of town. The Captains menu is good, a bit more than you standard restaurants but still a good value at 25 euro's. For a 3 Euro supplement you can swap you main in most cases to one from the a'la carte menue. If you do this then I cannot recommend the suckling pig or duck enough. To start I also suggest the cripy prawns in romesco sauce, a bit of art in the construction of these prawns wrapped in filo pastry. I cannot understand why Bitakora is not higher in the list of where to eat. We have eaten in all the restaurants at the top, some deserve to be there but others are basic meat, fish, hamburgers with a bit of salad and frites. Bitakora is well worth a visit for lunch or dinner. Fantastic, Fantastic
