Nice place for families in Roses. People charming, hotel super clean, food delicious. Cheap hotel with full equipment : swimming pool, games... Entertainement in the hotel a little bit disappointing though.

I stayed here for 5 nights on a school trip. I realise we were with a school group, but our kids are very well behaved and were very respectful of the other guests, despite our horrible stay.
Every person on reception, regardless of the day or time was rude and unwilling to be accommodating in any way. We spoke Spanish, so it wasn't that we weren't trying.
The rooms were a joke. I couldn't believe that they would consider the rooms/beds to be anything more than a glorified hostel. They were lumpy, so uncomfortable and moved if you turned in your sleep. This made for the worst night's sleep ever considering that there was no soundproofing between floors, so if the person upstairs had a bad dream, it woke you up.
The hotel is booked for groups, which is fine, but they've overshot their limits by having school groups from all over and seniors touring groups in the same hotel. Very strange.
A few people wrote about how bad the food was, but to be honest, i found it quite edible and some things were even very good. The free wine at dinner made the whole stay just a bit more bearable and that, along with the very friendly and nice man who greeted us at all the mealtimes and the friendly housekeeping staff is the only reason I didn't give this one star.

If you can, avoid this place at all cost.
I can't believe the chain of hotels that it belongs to has the audacity to call itself 'Prestige'.

STAY ANYWHERE ELSE - EVEN CAMPING!!! You'll get a better night's sleep!

Like so many Costa Brava hotels, the Goya Park appears on first sight to promise a good experience, but fails to deliver. As has been noted elsewhere, the restaurant is frankly dreadful. Cold, unappetising fare: no attempt at service, just help yourself. Breakfasts are almost inedible. Evening entertainment is raucus and only tolerable after one's second bottle of wine. Rooms are adequate, but stale-smelling (in winter) and the bathroom had a rich odour of drains in the morning. Hot water took for ever to arrive and there was poor pressure. Parking was on the street or waste ground, with no surveillance. The front door of the hotel ceases to function if there is a wind. Reception staff are coldly efficient: no welcome. The free wifi area downstairs is shut off for cleaning until at least 9.00 a.m. so it is impossible to read the paper or plan the day. No pluses at all: not even cheap.

Room Tip: You will be pushed to find one.

we stayed with a coach tour-no problem there. The rooms were ok but why did we need 3 single beds in a double room?Bathroom fine-good size and bath with shower-all clean.
Hotel very large and impersonal.Plenty of seating and bar area.Entertainment average for that sort of place but very loud. You could not escape the noise. We had a free bar from 8-10pm which meant bar staff were slow to serve if paying customers were present.
The problems started when 300 French people arrived on the Friday having some sort of reunion. They took over all the seating areas so we could not get in nor get to the bar.Thankfully they took longer to dine than we did and we managed to get seats and tables.
They tried to get us to move and kept trying to take our seats if we went to the loo.An uncomfortable evening.
On Saturday there was a wedding as well with many guests. It was arranged that we dine at 6.30 in order that we could at least get some food in peace. There was a waitress standing guard at the door in order to keep the French at bay. They justed pushed in and tried to take our tables again.
I appreciate that a large number of people are unstoppable but these situations should be stopped.Maybe 100 people in a group are enough!
The food was pretty awful. It was generally tepid and there were no vegetables apart from a few overcooked frozen beans and carrots.
We were supposed to have s carafe of white, rose and red wine on our tables.Well we did have rose or white but rather small carafes for 6 people. We asked for red and received a very very small carafe which did 3 1/3 fiull glasses. The staff were uniformly sullen.I am sure that if I worked there on a minimum wage I probably would not be overly cheerful but I am sure I could manage the occasional smile.
Overall it is Ok but not somwhere you want to stay for long.

I went here on a school trip. This first sentence could put off many people not interested in sharing a hotel with a group of teenagers, but depending on the time of year you go, you should be ok! The rooms were very clean, with nice bathrooms and a balcony, some with a seaview. The food was nice and there was a range to choose from, all buffet style, with different mains each night. The area was also very nice, about a 3 minute walk from the beach, with a park for children. Whilst there we explored the surrouding areas of Roses. There is most definitely not a shortage of things to do! You can visit Girona and Cadaques, both only a bus journey away, also Figueres, home to the Salvador Dali museum. You can even get a coach to the city of Barcelona, where we visited La Sagrada Familia, Parc Igual and Las Ramblas. Or if you want to see more of Roses, you can take a ride on the 'Roses Express train' on a guided tour by trained professionals. I would most definitely recommend it to people travelling in a large group like i did, the services were perfect for our needs, and also to anyone thinking of taking a short break away. We went mid March last year and had amazing weather. I hope this has helped anyone thinking of visiting the Prestige Goya Park. (:

We stayed here for 1 week the food was the worst we have had in any hotel, the breakfast was always cold no fried eggs the toaster didn't work most days, the bacon wasn't cooked. The evening meal was a big let down and cold.
The staff was very helpfull but the food lets this hotel down badly

We stayed two nights while traveling the "Costa Brava." The hotel is located at the entrance of Roses outside the city center. We went during the fall, you can tell that the town is a summer tourist destination. The hotel is a average 3 star borderline 2 star hotel. The breakfast was included in the rate and it offered hot items (eggs, etc.) at room temperature (i.e. cold). I would definitely recommend having breakfast somewhere else or just having some fruits and breads (stay away from the coffee). The rooms are ample but the beds are just single ones put together.
