We found this attractive restaurant in a small lane just off the front. The menu looked very inviting, just a bit more expensive than the rest but we were tempted by the three course 16€ lunch.
We chose steamed mussels which were the freshest and tastiest for a long time, followed by a beautifully cooked sea bream. Dessert was a delicious crème catalane, all in all excellent quality and amazing value. The house white wine was also very pleasant at 12.50€ a bottle. Although a service charge of 10% was added to the bill, we were more than happy to pay it as the service had been very attentive.
There is no shortage of restaurants in Roses but this was definitely a cut above the rest.
