Good and bad. The hotel is nice. We had two rooms in the Park Hotel, the rooms had been refurbished, so looked great, were comfortable, clean had air con, flat screen tv (only 1 English channel BBC world news and picture very fuzzy). Pool area was nice, very clean, plenty of sun loungers, no parasols but you could follow the shade around the pool if there was an available sunbed. Meals weren't great OK if you like nothing but salad or chips, only one meat per night e.g. sliced beef or turkey slices and fish (all usually cold) so not a lot of choice at all unfortunately. All inc did have a good selection of drinks including bottled such as fresh orange, milkshakes, plenty of cocktails, also included ice creams like cornettos, crisps, so you seemed to get more than in other hotels. The staff all worked very hard and remained calm and pleasant with a very difficult, unpleasant clientele. Wifi 15 euros for a week.
Not so good - when we first arrived our rooms were not ready at 12.00 midday so we were told to go away and come back later...not easy to do with 4 cases. Would of been nice to have the all inclusive bands put on and be given the option to get a drink from the bar (which other hotels tend to do when you arrive early), go away come back in an hour and a half is not what you want to hear after hours of travelling. The hotel seems to cater for school trips/camps. There were swarms of teenagers there with a couple of adults. Most apparent at meal times when they repeatedly pushed in front of you 10/20 strong. They literally just walked in grabbed a plate and went straight to what they wanted pushing people out of the way...by the time they finished you had to wait a good 15/20 minutes for trays to be refilled...we started going an hour after meal times started, they start at 7.00pm so we went at 8.00pm to be able to sit down and get something to eat! They never took the stairs which meant that you couldn't get in the lift even when you were trying to get your cases to your room. They seemed to be out most of the day but when they got back they completely took over the pool area, kicking balls (hitting people in the head is apparently funny to them), all playing very loud music so had about 7 different lots of music blaring out at us, don't know which country they were from but it made our holiday the holiday from hell! Unfortunately it doesn't stop there, the hotel has a taxi rank out front and a nightclub next door but one! NOISE is horrendous, at all hours especially from mid night to around 4.30am! Resort is pretty much the German Magaluf. Full of young very loud Germans and Dutch. Pouring out of the club into the hotel or into taxis all shouting at top of their voices, yelling to each other from their balconies, throwing things to one another all through the night...early hours. The walls seem to be paper thin you can literally hear all of those around you at all hours...ear plugs couldn't even keep the noise out. Beach was standing room only between the hungover bodies that never seemed to move.
The hotel needs to decide who they want to cater for, being stuck in the middle of a school camp is not what I consider a holiday...or in the very least keep some control of the kids on camp at the pool and during meal times.
Can't recommend the hotel and wouldn't recommend the resort....unless you are a group of 18 to 25's wanting a youth hostel feel then it may be exactly what you are looking for.
