I went to this hotel on a six night 'All Inclusive' break with my sister and our two children. We arrived quite late at night and although it took 30 minutes to check in we were pleased to be offered cold meats, cheese and bread in the restaurant which had long since closed. The rooms were on the first floor with balconies overlooking the front grassy area of the hotel. We were very pleased with the large airy, clean rooms and the nice bath and also the lovely balcony. We were happy with the choice of food at the three daily buffets although the children were slightly fussier and didn't like a lot of the food. Some of the meat however, was very undercooked so we had to be very careful about what we were eating. The all inclusive drinks were good although the coffee was extremely strong so we had to keep adding additional milk even to the lattes. The pool was nice and quite big but there were not enough sunbeds and also towels were left on the beds to reserve them which should not be allowed. We did find some airbeds to lie on but generally had to just sit on the chairs which were quite comfortable. We bought tickets for the water park from the hotel which meant we could go everyday and this was ideal for the children as it was only a five minute walk around the side of the hotel. We didn't see much of the evening entertainment as we were normally out. We liked the area of the hotel and especially the grass and trees at the front although it was about a 15 minute walk to the main beach area. The one main complaint is from some of the other guests who were extremely noisy after midnight or early in the morning and didn't have any regard for anyone who was trying to sleep although there were notices up around the hotel about keeping quiet after midnight. The walls and floors seemed to be quite thin and it was easy to hear people above our room and also each side. The staff were friendly and helpful and although there was a visit from the local police whilst we were there, I have no idea what that was about. There were also quite a lot of large groups of men staying in the hotel, mainly Germans, possible on stag events but that didn't worry us. Generally a very nice, relaxing and pleasant break and good value for money.

Room Tip: Ask for a balcony room at the front of the hotel.

Me and my partner spent 4 days at costa verde and had a good time, although the economy rooms are really really small and you can hear everyone in other room and the lift is really old, noisey and unpredictable we had a lovely time away and met some great people, English & German. All inclusive was fine always something to eat, just beware of the meat and check it's cooked properly as I noticed other visitors complained of raw food. I personally stayed clear of it and enjoyed the fresh salads and other food that was laid out. Alcohol is good. Nice beer. Wines ok too. It's self service with is fab! Good size swimming pool, 15 mins transfers from aiport, good location althought it looks a bit rough it's ok once you have been out and explored. Lots of shops and restaurants, cheap too. Staff lovely & friendly no problems there, rooms cleaned daily, all in all we had a nice time. We would return to costa verde in the future. Ignore the bad reviews. After all it's only a 3* hotel not a 5* which some people think ! It's what you make it.

Arrived in at 9:30am in the morning - I asked if I could smoke in the room to which the answer was no because there was no balcony. I paid an extra 50 Euro's for a room with a balcony this would take an hour to prepare. No problem we'll go for a coffee! Finally accessed the room at noon and greeted with an awful smell of rotting fish - the curtains were ripped & handing off the rail, air con didn't work nor did the fan in the ceiling. TV didn't work asked 4 times for a remote control that worked - never got one that worked. Went out & bought air freshener to try to get rid of the smell - sprayed everywhere & went out for another coffee - came back it was worse - the bins were below our room & left open in the midday heat. Complained - staff not interested - contacted rep who arranged another hotel (Luna Park - recommended & excellent) the staff at the Costa Verde didn't even ask why we were leaving - just didn't give a hoot! Avoid at all costs - cannot believe this was given 3 stars!!

Room Tip: Go elsewhere - Luna Park was excellent!

Easy access to and from airport thankfully. Hotel walls extremely thin, no idea of what a buffet is with the same things for breakfast every day and pork for dinner 3 nights in a row. Also no idea of what time to close doors to residents and allowing people to come in at 3am and run riot down corridors etc. Also don't like the idea of police having to come to hotel for reasons I would not like to explain. Apart from that the resort does not feel a safe place to be around.

I have nothing to complain about. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean.

I loved the fact that there was a buffet on all the 3 meals with quite a large range of food to choose from.

If you stay at this hotel I also recommend visiting the nearby COYOTE restaurant where I had the best pizza ever. Have fun!

I not recommend to take economy room, it's really small! Other thing - food wasn't tasty, last 3 days we ate in other restaurants. Hotel was quit clean, just one thing - sometimes maid started to lock the door very early - 9am. I don't wanna say, that's bad hotel, but the next generation I will choose a different hotel.
