I sat on the terrace, which is where the chairs and tables are set out in a pleasant square. The square has' swings and play things so it must be a popular place for parents to enjoy a drink while their children play.
Service was very good, quick and efficient.
But the meal was awful. I chose arroz Zamorana, a local rice based dish. The dish was risotto style rice, undercooked with lots of fatty lumps in it. Fat and meat is fine; if you like fat you can eat it and if you don't you can cut it off. But this was all fat, lumps of varying size from large (say 1x2 cm) to smaller pieces. The fat over-whelmed the dish, leaving a greasy smear on your lips after every mouthful.
I do not live in Spain but have travelled here for many years and I cannot recalled a less attractive dish, and that includes my dim memories of the post-Franco era before Spanish cuisine exploded into the wonderful array you can enjoy today.
