“Good Tapas for a Beer”
Reviewed 15 April 2014

It is incredible that for a beer they give you such a good tapa. Good taste, Cosy place and good service. they are kind. Tip: ask on the bar and stay standing up.

“Great wine bar / restaurant ”
Reviewed 8 November 2013 via mobile

Strongly recommend the place for having a glass of wine. Great tapas are served at all time.

Feels really local ( not such a touristic place)

Simple but well presented and prepared dishes. ( relatively expensive for Cuenca though)

Better make a reservation

“Very worthwhile...but standing room only, and squeezed”
Reviewed 8 November 2013

We found the recommendation on Trip Advisor and went, and found it really was a great spot! You could definitely make a meal of the tapas--very generous and they change with each round. There were six of us and first round came with a complementary mini-bowl of leek soup, followed by a platter of grilled zucchini, fried quail's eggs, ham and bread (!). Apparently the second round would have come with squid, but it was about 8 or 9 p.m. on a Saturday, and there was such a crowd in this small, narrow place that we had to split the group to let people through; a bit uncomfortable in that sense, so we moved along to somewhere we could sit down after our day of walking up and down hills in the old town.

“Tapas to die for!”
Reviewed 26 August 2013

This out of the way bar was recommended in a travel guide and it more than lived up to expectations. A cosy little bar full of atmosphere with a great little restaurant through the rear of the building. The food was superb and with each drink you get these wonderful plates of food, and I mean plates. Just in case you cannot wait for the plate of food they bring you something to nibble in the meantime. This place takes the meaning of tapas to another level. Not to be missed.

“Really worth a visit”
Reviewed 16 July 2013

This small bar with restaurant behind is the sort that is now very hard to find in Spain. The bar staff and the owner are very friendly and each drink comes with a plateful of tasty tapas and the owner really puts his heart into cooking them. We planned to have a drink and a tapa here and then move on for the evening meal. We manged the one plate of tapas each but any more would have finished us for the later meal. Easily found on the car GPS and street parking just around the corner or a bit further away underground parking. Definitely worth revisiting. We never managed to visit their restaurant so can't comment but the bar tapas style of evening meal here was great.
