“Wines ate excellent”
Reviewed 9 May 2012 via mobile

I'm a hard marker but wine wise these are one of the best. A small boutique winery that makes some of Australia's best wines. Especially the reds but the whites are great too. I lived in Mudgee for about eight years about 25 years ago & always buy these wines. As a place to visit it is nothing special. Basically a warehouse with a tasting room. A true boutique winery without the frills but Realy ECCEPTIONAL wines. The bottom range four seasons wines are the best 'bang for buck' you will ever find.

“Great red wine but attention to service needed.”
Reviewed 16 April 2012

We visited here in April 2012 but had been some years before. The wines, especially their reds, are still absolutely wonderful. They need to focus a bit more on giving appropriate attention to their customers though. The venue looked a bit tired too and could do with some TLC.

“Tim Stevens - legend winemaker”

His reds are to die for. Cabernet Sauvignon is by far one of the best reds you will ever drink.

“Huntington Estate, Classical Music Festival”
Reviewed 28 November 2011

I spent 4 days in November at the classical music festival that is put on at Huntington Estate Mudgee. Some things about this festival were lovely and the Barrel Room where the concerts take place has surprisingly good acoustics. It is mostly Chamber music. Unfortunately the organisers have this habit of putting some very modern, atonal pieces into the program which, judging by the reactions of people I spoke to, and my own tastes, have very limited appeal. They let you sample their wines, some good, some ordinary. The food is well organised but rather too much pork when many people do not eat it. It was an experience. i am not sure I would rush back.
