“Would Go Back In A Heartbeat”
Reviewed 1 week ago for a stay in June 2018

Booked through TC Villas & would absolutely do it again. Great communication via email or phone. They answered every question I had within minutes (and I had a ton).

The pictures of the cottage are 100% an accurate representation of the way everything looks. It's actually prettier in person. We felt safe during our weeklong stay as there is an alarm system in the villa and an officer that patrols the area from 7pm - 7am. Fully functioning kitchen where we cooked breakfast every morning. A grill on the patio next to the pool where we grilled hotdogs and hamburgers for lunch. Washer and dryer available so that you only have to pack half the clothes you think you'll need. The villa even came stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, detergent, paper plates... a pleasant surprise! They also had snorkel gear for us to use (since the reef is literally steps away), an umbrella, beach chairs, pool layout chairs... you name it.

My only complaint is the $200 electricity allowance. Apparently electricity is expensive on the island and you're given a meter to keep track of usage. We only ran the a/c at night but were nervous about leaving lights and fans on any time we were not inside. This made it difficult to cool down after being away for a few hours.

My husband and I chose to stay in this one-bedroom villa as opposed to a crowded resort. We felt so private and secluded on our stretch of beach. It was delightful. We felt like millionaires living the life! We walked down to Grace Bay to see what all the fuss was about and there was nothing but chairs and umbrellas and people. We thought our Turtle Cove area was a much better value!

We had an outstanding time and here are our thoughts:
1. Pool very clean and warm
2. Kitchen well stocked
3. Very comfortable bed and sheets
4. We were low on hangers and Reggie was at our house in less than 30 minutes with additional hangers.
5. Very private
6. You will need water sandals for the beach
7. Great snorkeling in front of Villa
8. Bring bug spray
9. Wifi worked pretty good
10. Body wash but no bars of soap

Have a wonderful time!

We LOVED our vacation at the Callaloo Cottage. It was prefect! The villa was exactly as presented in the photos, maybe better! It was fully equipped, the TV and internet were in perfect working order. Your don't need to over pack as there is a washer and dryer available for your use.
This was the best, most relaxing vacation we ever had. The villa was perfect for the 2 of us. We could go out and about if we wanted to (there are about 6 very good restaurants in walking distance) or stay in and enjoy dining & BBQing at "home". The pool was the perfect size and the beach location ideal. The Housekeeping staff was very thorough and professional and they came back mid-week. We highly recommend the Callaloo Cottage & can't wait to go back!

My husband and I stayed in Callaloo Cottage during our honeymoon. This place was perfect!! Kichen was full with everything you could wish for (we even had a cooler),we had games, books and DVDs on top of everything else. Pool was perfect for late night relaxation. We were in peaceful area of the island, yet we had some good restaurants near us like Magnolia and Mango Reef. We highly recommend this lovely place.

“Amazing Place!”

I stumbled across T&C Villa and Callaloo Cottage while searching for a place to stay without having to be in the big resorts. I was so excited to find Callaloo Cottage. The place was beautiful and fully stocked with everything we needed. We had our own pool and right on the beach. I literally walked onto the beach and started snorkeling. We were right there at Smith's Reef so I was able to snorkel whenever I wanted. We had the flexibility to stay in and cook or go out. We did both. The grill was handy to have and they even had a Bluetooth speaker that we could use to listen to music by the pool! One of the best and most relaxing trips in the Caribbean I have had.

Liked best: The location and pool
Liked least: Pool floor needed better cleaning with vacuum but it was still very nice.
