Mohammed, the manager of Merzouga Camp was the real revelation of a true, honest, hoitable man of the desert who made us experience and taste the hidden beauty of the sanddunes, life of nomads and camels, a skybfull of stars and the silence.
You can't think anything that was not surprisinlgy fulfilled. It was an unforgettable experience at such a high quality/price. It was our 3 rd visit to the Merzouga desert but it peaked the previous ones.
We have only 1 message : Let hourself be taken by Mohammed, his guides and ca'els and undergo the desert at its best!

Absolutely awesome trip to the desert! Everything was taken care off. The price covers everything, including the camel ride their and back, the dinner at the camp and the breakfast in the morning at the village. The tents are very comfortable and the utilities are available. Our guides were awesome guys and made sure that we had an experience of a lifetime. Thank you very much for this unforgettable trip!
P.S.
Nobody says it, but after an hour on the camel, it's quite painful to be sitting down for a day or two.. But the trip and the experience is very well worth the pain!

First of all , I would like to make a special notice about Mohammed the manager. I had booked a 2 night stay at Merzouga camp and to my surprise I received an email from him informing me that due to the hot weather (June) it would be better if we stayed only for a day in the dunes and could spend the other day at his house in Hassi Labiad which is a small village at the gates of Sahara.I Always appreciate honest people and this was a hint of how nice our stay would be. After a 7 hour drive from Fes we arrived in the afternoon at Hassi Labiad where Mohammed was waiting for us.After buying "frozen cold" water we jumped on the camels for a 1 and a half hour camel trecking in the dunes. The camp was small 6 /8 tents which made it very cozy. We had time to walk around and see one of the best sunsets before sitting around a table!!!!! And eat one of the best candle lighted meals we had in Morocco !!!! Our night finished with the staff playing and singing local music.... The next day we were woken up early to see the sunrise.... Our experience ended with a rich traditional breakfast at Mohammeds house after having a shower there. This was one of our best days in Morocco and its definitely worth its money ...with no other hidden costs!!!!!

Room Tip: Its good to arrive in the afternoon.
