Really please as a lovely room with balcony.

Easy to find. Lovely huge comfy bed.

Very impressed for the money.

Well equipped and good sized bathroom.

Like the individual feel and court yard setting.

Very quiet area and bar and restaurant on site although we didn't get the opportunity to try them.

Very clean, lovely rural location. Ideal for private functions, function room is lovely with high ceilings & beams. Garden area is nice too. Parking right outside your room possible.
Room 19:
Large, with plenty of room after they had added a fold up bed for our daughter. General decor could have done with being touched up, large marks across a few walls. Bath panel was cracked & damaged. I found the bedding had an odd chemical smell though!
Staff were happy to extend our check out by half an hr, though that may have been because we were coming back for a private function later in the day.

Room Tip: Rooms are separate from the main hotel, located in what looks like terraced houses with one on the g...

We stayed here due to a wedding that was at this venue.
The beds were hard & as they are like little flats you could hear the guests above you.
I couldnt get the wi-fi to work i dont know if it was me or not , although the rooms are spacious & clean it was not a comfy feeling room .
I wouldnt of stayed for more than one night.
The hotel itself i personally wouldnt pick for a wedding venue to be held there as its not overly big & the tiled floor got slippy, it felt a bit clinical but the bride & groom were happy so thats all that matters

The hotel's got a central services building - perhaps there's a few rooms there too - to the front is a courtyard where the bulk of the rooms are to be found. It has the appearance of a new set of terraced houses but in fact they're spacious rooms, finished to a good specification. The car parking's right outside - so there's no long distances to drag luggage.
The site's very quiet at night & the beds are good.

Room Tip: I suspect the quietest rooms are going to be around 20.

Stayed here for 7 days in May 2013 whilst on a course locally. Very nice rooms very spacious and very clean. Rooms were cleaned daily and had all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay away from home, only thing maybe a small fridge for keeping drinks cool. Staff were very welcoming and check in and out was straight forward and painless. Breakfast was excellent everyday with lots of choice and great service and very quick. Choices of continetal style breakfast or cooked breakfast with different juices and coffee and tea top ups available.

Bar staff were great and always happy to help. Well stocked bar with lots of choice and kept very clean and reasonable prices. Comfy seating area and bar seating available for meals if you didnt want to sit in the restaurant. The only critisism is that the bar/restaurant menu doesnt change so limited choice on main meals so you can quickly get bored of having the same meals. This actually forced us to eat out on several occasions. The meals we did have were very good and cooked and presented well although a little expensive.

Parking at The Tally Ho is excellent even when its full you can literally park outside your room and the grounds of the hotel are clean and well kept with a lovely seated garden area for relaxing with a drink in fine weather. Nice large pond aswell with a fountain and on an evening the whole place is is lite with a mood lighting which is very eyecatching and relaxing.

Nearby there is a pub called The Acorn which is a five minute drive near Tescos and Bicester village in Bicester, If you want a cheap and chearfull meal then try this as its a Hungry Horse bar, but choose your time wise as its very busy with limited parking spaces.

Overall an excellent stay and would definatley stay there again!!

Nice surprise for a 3 star Hotel, lovely staff very clean and large rooms. Good size garden and a good bar. Overall this Hotel seemed alot better than its 3 star rating. Would use again, unfortunately did use the restaurant so cannot comment on food. Excellant value at £80.00.

Room Tip: second floor rooms look like they have a balcony

a group of us stayed at the tally ho after a wedding. The rooms were clean and quiet. The king sized bed was amazing. Can't think of anything negative to say except for the bathroom fan which rattled in the wind. Couldn't hear it with bathroom door closed. I would welcome the opportunity to stay here again. Oh not to mention the breakfast which was excellent and the staff very accommodating and friendly. Very happy....
