After a hurried retreat from the granstand motel Warwick farm I luckily found a room at 2am here at the comfort inn. Having traveled 1300km to see my daughter in hospital the haven of this room was pure delight. Thank you for the discount it was greatly appreciated.

After our stay here I felt compelled to provide feedback as there is lots of improvements that this place could make:

1. Whoever the staff were on reception could do with some customer service skills. They were extremely rude.

2. When we used the restaurant for breakfast there were no staff around so we had to stand there waiting for 10 minutes wondering whether to go into the kitchen and make our own or whether we should go back to reception and tell them. Finally someone arrived and the food was okay for $15.

3. The rooms were very average but for 3 stars they were just okay. For the money this place must be raking in they could all do with a bit of a refurbishment. The sofa/couch was old and too low down and was very uncomfortable. It was a piece of rubbish and I saw that they had others out near their dumpmasters which had obviously gone by the wayside.

4. There was absolutely nowhere to sit outside unless you dragged your 2 chairs out of your room. They had a couple of lovely gazebos outside near the tennis courts with extremely dilapidated furniture which was a huge health and safety risk.

5. Don't go here if you expect a swim in the pool. The pool is completely empty except some rancid water at the bottom and it looks like they are doing some improvements to the pool.

6. They are currently building more rooms at the rear of this place and their workmen start very early so there was a lot of noise coming from that.

7. We had a room on the ground floor which was great but whoever it was above us had uncontrolled children who constantly ran backwards and forwards across their room and it sounded like a herd of elephants. Thank goodness we were out of the room a lot.

Overall disappointment really, the surrounding gardens were overgrown and not looked after so that kind of made it feel very dumpy (if that is a word). What a shame that some money is not spent of some upkeep to the place instead of building more rooms down the back. Perfect what you have got before you expand your footprint.

Room Tip: Look elsewhere or wait for the new motel across the road to be finished.

The staff were fantastic and very friendly. I had a function there an also stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment. The apartment was very clean and roomy.
I would like to thank all the staff for the wonderful night we had for my son's 18th birthday party in one of the function rooms. Marie Green is fantastic and accommodated all my requests to make the night a huge success. I will definitely be returning. Last Friday was my 3rd time using the function room and hotel. Fantastic work. Keep it up.

Room Tip: Highly recommend the hotel for short or long term stay. The staff are fantastic. Rooms are spacious...

Firstly, I called to check the room availability on last Saturday night and the operator was not friendly at all. she was rude in fact. She gave me the impression that I bothered her. She hung up on me when I was about to ask for the price. But it was very late around midnight and I had no where to stay.. so I checked in. The room was just not nice and old buildings. I found hairs all over and dirt in bathroom. and the hair dryer was broken and dirty, shower leaking. honestly,,, I assume the cleaner only made a bed, not vacuum or dusting. There was no pen even there's a roomservice breakfast order paper. Instant coffees were expired long time ago. very disappointed. it's just not worthy paying money for stay. Well,, receptionists were good at check in/out.

Drove from the Gold Coast on our way to Melbourne and really needed to find a place to stay. Fortunately they are open 24hrs and were able to book us in. They upgraded us to the executive suite and we slept like babies. The bed was way comfortable and the room very clean and quiet. Breakfast in the morning was $15 per hd but it was very well presented and yummy a great way to start the day. The staff were very friendly and I would have no problem in recomending as a place to stay.

If we were not at a conference we would not choose this hotel to stay at. There were cracks in the wall and the toilet seat was still dirty, marks on the wall. The food was not that good and cold. The hotel was in the middle of nowhere.
