We stayed in the Sheraton Milan Malpensa the night before catching a morning flight from Milan back to the US. The hotel is practically attached to Terminal 1--you walk under a covered walkway and your are in the airport. The hotel is also practically attached to the train station where you can catch one of two express trains to downtown Milan--a 30 minute train ride leaving every 30 minutes. For us, this made it a great location. We checked into the hotel around noon, easily made it into Milan for our 2:30 PM tickets to see The Last Supper, spent a few hours wandering downtown, and then took the train back. I honestly can't imagine anything more convenient, and it was so nice the morning when we flew out to just walk from the hotel to the airport with our luggage. The walk from our hotel room to the elevator in the hotel was longer than the walk from the reception desk to the airport. In addition to the location, our room was clean and comfortable, the bathrooms was big, and everything seemed to have been renovated in the not too distant past. The room service dinner we ordered was nothing to write home about--the service was fine, but the food was just OK. I would have preferred dinner at a cafe in the city, but was overruled by a child who had her heart set on hotel room service. Go for the location, not the food.

This is hotel is probably the biggest in terms of space. Lots of wasted space. It took us awhile to reach our room walking for over 2 minutes. The hotel is designed vertically long, almost the length of the airport. The rooms are clean and nicely designed. The pillows are flat and not that comfy. Bed not as good as Marriott. But overall good enough for an overnight sleep. Bathroom is great,
Best of all, the sound proofing of the rooms is amazing, no sound of an airplane, so quiet. Lobby is also huge, well designed, sort of minimalist. Good hotel to stay if you need to rest before departing.

We had an overnight stay at this hotel on our way home to Australia. It is located above the railway station and close to and a walk to Terminal 1 from which many international carriers depart.

On check in we were greeted by Ivan. We were lucky to have met such a nice person who organised us a room to look over Monte Rossa but unfortunately the rain continued our entire stay and I feel Ivan was as disappointed as we that it did and we didn't get the view. Ivan is an excellent representative of Sheraton and we hope to have the chance of seeing him again, hopefully as Manager of a Sheraton Hotel somewhere in the world. Friendly, courteous, considerate , and clearly on top of his job.

The hotel itself is a little of a shock. It sprawls, it seems, for miles outside the terminal. Floors seem to go on forever and several games of bocce could be played between each room wing. Apart from the surprise of the design, services were excellent. We had pizza in our room on arrival, very tasty and quickly served, and dinner that evening in the restaurant, not open however until 7pm, with a welcoming glass of Prosecco, a nice touch. The menu is limited, it is not a coffee shop, but the food was very good. Equally breakfast in the area was very acceptable.

Before checking out If you happen to pick up a hand cart at the train arrival station before check in, keep it and take your luggage to your room on it otherwisw its a long haul. Otherwise use the very smiling and helpful luggage guys.

Room Tip: near the lifts would be good

Not only is the hotel lovely and modern, but it is at Malpensa airport. If you have an early flight, this is the place to stay. The rooms are beautiful and large as well as the bathrooms. The King sized beds will fit two adults and a child and the twin rooms are actually two double beds, so more than enough room when traveling with families. It is located at terminal 1 so it is very convenient and there is a shuttle bus that will take you to terminal two. Great restaurant and bar with good service as well as front desk service was very good.

A nice & cozy airport hotel, the Sheraton MXP is a smart choice with easy terminal access thru a nice lobby. The TV in our room was broken, and the WiFi was terribly slow. Beware of the long hallways, airport hotels are low and long, avail yourself of the bellboy.

Dear Rose2li,

We are glad you have enjoyed your stay and would like to thank you for choosing us.
The Hotel is a modern design building, distributed in length for security purposes being internally the airport hub. Long distances are difficult to avoid but in the future please ask about the possibility of a room near the main block. The colleagues, we are sure they will do their best to assist you.
We apologize for the inconveniences you encountered with the TV in your room, usually all rooms are checked before arrival. We also experienced some difficulties with the WIFI but now everything has been restored.
Hope to welcome you back at Sheraton Malpensa.
Thanking you with our warmest regards,
