We went for a light lunch and a wine tasting, their Rose is a great surprise and well worth the shipping of a case home.

We had coffee here one morning and I would have loved to have had lunch or dinner but time did not allow. One of the best known establishments on the island and very popular for weddings. Beautiful set up and lovely gardens and surrounds, and views.

Went here for lunch after a walk around the Church Bay Track. The restaurants are up a long driveway. I opted for the Tasting Room (Cellar Door on their website) which provides a snack menu rather than the full restaurant menu. This turned out to be a great spot with a nice view from their outside terrace tables with tasty light meals. I had the soup of the day (potato) and salt and pepper squid which were both good, followed by a flat white coffee. This came to around $42 - cheaper than the main restaurant menu with mains dishes around $45. For another $10 one can get a taste of 5 of the wines produced by the Vineyard. The chap at the coutner was friendly and efficient. On a fine day, it was a great spot to relax before taking the 30min walk back to the ferry at Matiatia Bay.

Need to look at front of house staff attitude. Waited 1 hour for entre and 1 hour for main. Not good enough.
