We had a three-course meal and enjoyed all of it along with the beautiful view of the Hauraki and Auckland. The menu changes regularly, so be ready to have something different from the last time you ate there. My experience, though, is that it's all delicious anyway! Eat your food slowly -- you give them time to have everything ready when you're done with a course, and you can savour every morsel (it's worth it!) If you can, get the earliest lunch booking possible so the kitchen won't be too busy with other people's orders.
Do not miss picking up a bottle of extra-virgin olive oil -- it is wonderful!
And have a stroll before or after your meal. It is part of Cable Bay's beauty!
