Hotel right in the terminal. Good for a stopover.
Clean, inexpensive, OK food.
Staff really friendly and helpful.
Hotel appears to have a policy that demands 50% of the guests smoke. There was no getting away from the smell in the bar and restaurant.
The hotel can't help it I know but they could at least give them a smoking section to keep us all away from their bad habit.

The Hyatt is a great option for travelers with early flights out of Pittsburgh International. I stayed here for the final night of a three-night business trip to the area and catching my 6:50 a.m. flight the next morning was a breeze. Since the hotel is conveniently connected to the airport by covered walkway I returned my rental car before checking in to the hotel and enjoyed a relaxing evening.

The hotel features modern decor in the lobby/common areas and in the guest rooms. The bathroom is spacious and features a granite counter top and stainless steel fixtures. The bed? Let's just say it allowed me to get an excellent night's sleep.

While the hotel's location at the airport is convenient for guests flying in or out of PIT, it is isolated and surrounded by the airport's parking lots, runways and open fields. Area dining options are slim-to-none. The hotel offers a lounge in the lobby and an on-site restaurant. Room service is also an option. Outside of the hotel itself though, the only other dining options available are in the landside terminal at the airport. An Au Bon Pain bakery and the City of Bridges Cafe are both located pre-security and both close fairly early making a late-night dinner or snack outside of the hotel itself nearly impossible without having access to a car.

Even with the lack in dining options, Hyatt still earns high marks for service and comfort and it is very convenient for flyers. When flying in/out of PIT in the future I will definitely consider another stay here.

Overall this is a great hotel. It is a little far from the city, so if you are looking for a spot to sightsee from, this might not be the hotel for you, but otherwise, it is top-notch. The hotel is updated and very clean, the staff go above and beyond to do what they can for you and the food was great. For an event or an stay while on business travel, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

My husband and I booked this hotel for an early morning flight leaving Pittsburgh. The hotel is right next to the airport, you really cannot stay any closer. The lobby has an exit right into the airport. It made returning our rental car and leaving the next day very easy.

The hotel itself is very modern. The decor is wonderful, kind of like upscale IKEA.

We were checked in promptly and politely and headed to our room. The room was spacious, with a few tables and a desk. There was ample light and the room was spotless.

The only downside I could find to this hotel was that the linens were lavender scented. It was awful on my husband's allergies. On the plus side it wasn't oerwhelming. The bed also had down pillows and a down comforter. That coud be a problem for some.

The Hyatt Pittsburgh Int'l Airport is a very nice business hotel. It is connected to the terminal at Pittsburgh Int'l Airport, meaning if you're flying into Pittsburgh, it is a very convenient location. However, it is expensive to park there, as you pay airport parking prices and the location is horrible if you're planning on going into the city. The nearest retail development is seven miles away and Downtown Pittsburgh is 25 minutes away. If you're traveling on business in Pittsburgh, stay here. Otherwise, if you're in Pittsburgh on leisure, think twice about it. Very upscale property though.
