Myself and other half stayed here for a couple of nights camping and to explore the local area. Totally spoilt. They let you camp here with out site fees, but just ask you to have a meal drink or breakfast. We ate on the 1st night I had liver and bacon with all the trimmings,my partner had the Rabbit pie with new potatoes and veg. There was a choice of steak pie as well. The food was piping hot and delicious, huge compliments to the chef. We did indulge in dessert as well again home made and delicious I had sticky toffee pud and other half had lemon scicilian sponge. The choice on he menu was amazing,A great variety even for the fussiest eater. I would reccomend booking a table as it gets very busy, but then Im not surprised. The staff were very friendly and a great atmosphere in the pub. They have an outside garden area and the camping field is behind this. We will definitly be returning, hopefully with our friends to camp again. The location is perfect for walkers and cyclists. Thanks again for a lovely weekend
