My wife and I stayed four incredibly relaxing days in the Banana room at the Lemontree. The room was comfortable and very homey. We woke every morning to the sounds of the waves and went to bed each night to the songs of the Coqui. From the moment we arrived it was as if every bit of stress, care and worry were washed away by the gentle waves. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing place to rest and recharge the Lemontree is the place for you.

Room Tip: The Banana room is the only one with the Jacuzzi tub

Stayed in Mango suite for 3 nights which had huge balcony overlooking the ocean. Very quiet area. Only sound is of the waves crashing off the rocks. Place was clean, service is very friendly and relaxed. Room had separate bedroom, bathroom and living area with TV, refrigerator and cooking area, fully stocked. Perfect for self catering. Oh and was very happy with fast Wifi.

We enjoyed 5 awesome days and the staff made every bit of it worth it. The property is very clean, organized and one could not ask for more when you are literally inches away from the ocean. Thank you Bella Jane & Frances!

Room Tip: Every room is literally on the water and well worth the price.

First off, LemonTree staff was very friendly and made themselves available at all times for anything we needed. We did a Romantic Package which included champagne, rose petals, chocolate, candles, and other decor upon arrival. The package also inlcuded a photo shoot with Fifi who is a profession photographer. The hotel ground are very quiet, peaceful, and inviting. We stayed in the banana suite which has a jacuzzi in the room as well as a shower. It has an amazing view from the second floor and a private balcony. You can sit outside and have breakfast, lunch, and dinner with the most beautiful views. The suite also had a kitchenette which came in handy on days we felt like eating leftover from the previous nights amazing dinner. There's a few nearby restaurants that were very nice to eat at with spectacular views (Picoteo, Mahi Mahi, but if you really want to have AMAZING puertorican food, stop and get foo at the kiosks on the side of the road.) To sum it up, our stay was great. We felt disconnected from the stresses of life and it definitely lived up to the other reviews I've read on TripAdvisor. Thank you so much to the staff. It was an amazing vacation and we will be returning.

Room Tip: Call ahead and ask about rooms. Banana has private balcony and is on the second floor. It features a...

First time at the Lemontree and we will definitely be going back! This was our 4th trip to Rincon and staying at the Lemontree made it by far the most relaxing and peaceful of all our stays. We stayed at the Mango suite and hearing the waves right beneath our balcony, the coquis at night, the birds in the AM was amazing, those soothing sounds work wonders on your mind. I stayed with my wife and 8yr old daughter for 5 days and then headed to San Juan to a resort for 4 more (my daughter being 8 would need a pool for a few days of our vacation) but when we asked her which place she liked better she, to my delighted shock, said Lemontree.
To comment on some previous posts, the water pressure was fine, there was hot water, and the loud music was from cars driving by which would last 5 seconds MAYBE once a night (but maybe I'm used to that since I live in a big city).
The cottage is definitely not for those who are looking for a resort type stay but for those in search of peace, tranquility and a relaxing atmosphere.

Absolutely amazing! We stayed for 6 days and loved every minute! The Lemon Tree is literally as close to the water as you can get. Lounging on our private deck, from the Coco suite all you can see is the water. It was as if we were on a boat, but without any potential motion sickness since we actually were on land. The ocean waves crashing right below sounded amazing and helped drown out the noise of the occasional car passing by. We slept with the windows open and didn't turn on the AC once. The accommodations were clean and simple, but had all of the essentials. It was nice to be able to prepare a few meals in the kitchenette and they provided everything necessary. This place definitely does not have a resort feel or resort amenities. If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle and stay in a quiet, laid-back atmosphere, I highly recommend.

This was our fourth time at the Lemon Tree and it continues to be a wonderful place to stay. We have stayed in many of the suites. They are all pleasing. Very comfortable beds, nice kitchens and plenty of room especially because of the large outdoor space each one has right over the ocean. The beach, which is a few steps down the stairs, is beautiful. It goes on for miles in both directions and you will probably be the only one on it. Shopping and restaurants are a few minutes away by car. Many of the other guest you meet there come back every year like we have and I think thats the best endorsement anybody can give. Don't hesitate to stay here.
