The Lobby was all open and very beautiful. The staff at the front desk were very nice and friendly. The room was ok. The bedding was pretty worn and one of the blankets had a few holes in them.

I called the front desk in the evening to see if they could bring more shampoo and conditioner and the lady at who answered was less than helpful. She said that the housekeeping people had already left for the day. She said she would check and see, but she never called and no one showed up with anything.

The beach front was nice in that it was secluded, however, it is really rough water and there is a big drop off pretty close to the shore where the water gets pretty deep.

The pool was nice, but it's a shame that it's only 3' deep. It's a pretty quiet place and everything seems to shut down in the evening.

Room Tip: The best rooms would be ocean view as well as a corner room, where you only share one wall with a ro...

Tired is the kindest thing to say about this hotel. Yes, the hotel lobby is attractive and we spent time there reading and gathering because the rooms were too depressing. The staff was pleasant, complaining I actually felt sorry for them as opportunities in this community are all vacation/resort based so where else could they go for jobs?

Upon checking in there was a sign posted at the front desk no beach towels available, and in our 3 day stay none ever appeared. The hotel shop stocked with forgotten necessities, snacks and gifts never opened during our 3 day stay. The pool furniture was tired and stained with missing straps on the chairs. The mattresses on the beds weren't too bad but the sheets were a blend of 50/50 polyester/cotton and they were pilled and very thin. The bathroom wasn't very clean, the tub was chipped with rusty iron poking through. The floors were dirty so I laid towels down and wore flip flops all the time. Both rooms we occupied were supplied with a single threadbare wash cloth and the towels were grey. One of our rooms was always unlocked upon entering every time and our friends were understandably very nervous upon entering (yes, they checked the locks when leaving to be sure they were in the locked position). They took their personal items and valuables with when they left the room. The paint was peeling and chipped, there was mold on the walls and the furniture was old and worn.

The only restaurant we tried was The Royal Palm and we found it nicely decorated like the lobby, but the food and presentation was awful. The sterno was not lite on the serving dishes so the eggs and potatoes were cold, juice offerings included orange and red punch, the fresh fruit bowl consisted of honey dew (green melon) with a few thinly cut pieces of strawberries.

And for all this the average guest pays $200 per night. As a resident of Puerto Rico it gives me pleasure to showcase restaurants and hotels to folks visiting. Please know this is my worst review I have written but I now understand why Rincon of the Seas is always offering bargain stays on Groupon and Gustazos as they must be in trouble and that makes me sad.

The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. When my wife and I wanted to go snorkeling, they recommended a few rental places and a few spots. As far as location the hotel is about 3/4 mile from the town center. Within walking distance there are a few restaurants where at night you can enjoy some local food. And during the day across from the hotel's driveway there are some street vendors where you can buy some local fruits and vegetables and then you have "PiJays" BBQ. which is a street vendor with some awesome rotisserie chicken and ribs.
The only negative review I would say is..... that the beach section directly behind the hotel due to last year's bad weather the water washed a lot of the sand from the shore. So the bottom is very rocky. So I highly recommend to wear some closed toe footwear.

The hotel is not more than 2 stars hotel. Poor service and the staff isn't the best. They ran out of towel before the afternoon in the pool area, when I went to ask for towels in the front desk the guy was rude. He have no idea when they where going to have towels again, which never happen. The hotel is in poor conditions, the pool need some refurbished and the rooms need some refurbished as well. They have a gift shop that never open due to staff constrain (at least that what the front deal said). The breakfast buffet was the only good thing that I can mention from my weekend.

Great dinning experience right on the sea shore some feet away from your room. Enjoy an unforgettable romantic dinner, or an excellent dinner with your family, in front of a world class sunset view. Like they say, shoes are optional!

Very nice pool area, Great food and restaurant. Not very good rooms.
The beach access is great.
Rooms are not so nice.

My husband and I love this charming hotel because it has it all. It has a good pool bar and access to a beautiful beach from where you can view a breathtaking sunset. The restaurant is very good. Also, it is located in a quiet, small town where you can find other things to do and many places to eat. This is our third stay and look forward for many mores to come.
