Poor service. Poor maintance. Over priced. Nice location but that's all. The a/c where dripping water so the curtains were all damaged.... At the pool bar, one day they charge us a price and the other much more, over priced!!!

Stayed here for 2 nights in March. When we arrived the front desk had all of our information, the front desk staff was very nice and when we asked for a room on a higher level they were more than helpful and gave us a ocean view room on the top floor. There is only 1 elevator. Was disappointed when I was waiting with another couple and the elevator doors opened and there was a custodial worker in the elevator with a cart and the person did not get out so the guest could use the elevator, so the couple and I had to wait.

The room walls are paper thin and the hotel is going through some renovation. So don't expect to get much rest because you hear everything. The room itself was OK, except for the shower. The shower was pure disgusting, the tub old / used looking, the wall was peeling and there was rust stains throughout.

The pool and common area were nice. The hotel is in a nice location of Rincon and close to most all the areas attractions, but there are lot of hotels in the area.

Believe my next trip to Rincon, we will stay somewhere different.

There is no hospitality here, the staff made this experience terrible. The bartenders at the pool hide in corner and make you wait 20mins for drink. Everything here is slow! The rooms are disgusting, old & moldy. Not only that but the hotel charges $10 a day for a refridgerator, they charge $38 a day for additional guests even if your room has a max occupancy of 4 persons, i was charges for my 3rd person.

We took our business to the hotel next door Villa Cofressi & had a great time. Stayed here only 2 nights to try it out. I really couldnt deal with room conditions, when i asked to be moved nothing else was available. If you want real hospitality go to Villa Cofressi.

Our business here in PR had booked two rooms for four business associates for 3 nights. They checked in and had no hot water and called the front desk to let them know. They said it was the first they have heard of any complaints about no hot water and were assured they would have it fixed. The next morning still no hot water. They called again and were told there should be hot water. Maintenance showed up and sure enough no hot water. By the third day after several complaints they still had no hot water and so we moved them to Rincon Beach Resort. They were very upset at how they were treated by the staff and that nothing was done to fix the problem. We asked to get a discounted rate on the two nights they were there due to no hot water and they actually charged us $3 more per night. We went back to them again and the best they would do is $22 per night off the charge. After all the business clients we send there they should have given us the rooms for much less than that. We will never put our clients up there again but will go to Rincon Beach Resort. Further out of town but much nicer property and more updated. They also ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and were very disappointed with the food and service was horrible.

I made a reservation with the hotel with a 3 night package deal. From my understanding of the website ( strike one-online reservation system will only quote you the standard room rate; you can't select packages) this included breakfast AND dinner daily. I asked the person I made the reservation with if both meals were included daily and was told yes. Upon checking in, I was only given a voucher for one night's dinner, but figured you just had to request it daily. We went to the room, which was an ocean view room on the 4th floor. Bed was king sized and comfortable. Bathroom felt like a cheap motel bathroom with rust in the tub, tiny hair dryer, and ventilator that just made noise rather than pull out any humidity. TV is a 30" flat screen; there are about 30 channels of basic cable/satellite. The view of the hotel's garden/pool area is nice, bit not much ocean can be seen, maybe the 5th floor has a better view. Deco Restaurant at the hotel is where we redeemed our voucher. The voucher covers 2 persons on a tourist menu, which includes two appetizers, two entrees, and a shared dessert. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The following night, after enjoying a day of horseback riding with Pintos R Us (excellent 2 hour ride with Julie) and a trip to the Mayaguez Mall (great deals on clothing, even though the mall is quite dated), we decided to eat at Deco again, but on the regular menu, even after being told the package only included one night's dinner. The service that night was horrible. Our waiter was very inattentive; whereas our waiter the previous night would come by, ask about our meal or offer my wife and I more drinks, this waiter seemed to not care. He seemed to be more concerned about another party of four. A side note: the restaurant was all but empty both nights. Overall, the food was cooked deliciously, except my wife's salad; she had asked for no onions and was given plenty of onions. When made aware of it, he decided to ignore my wife, even when she would say thank you when he happened to refill her water glass. After dessert (try the flan de queso, very yummy), we waited about 20 minutes for the check. We were pretty upset with the service, so we decided to go to the pool bar afterwards. Compared to the drinks made in Deco restaurant, the drinks at the pool bar are sub-par. Then the bartender disappeared for 15 minutes, when I was still willing to have another drink. He came back and ignored us, so I just asked for the check. Overall, location is great. Rincon is a beautiful piece of Puerto Rico. Rincon of the Seas, on the other hand, could be much better. We'll spend our money elsewhere.

Overall, this was a nice place to stay, and it was a good value for the package price we paid for it. That being said, a few things were somewhat annoying. A "beach cabana", which sounded like it should be an upgrade, turned out to mean "ground floor room". After seeing it, we asked to be changed to another room on an upper level. The upper level room was actually less expensive according to the website, but it was exactly the same room as the "beach cabana". Of course, having paid for it ahead of time, we wouldn't be getting any money back even though we were now in a less expensive room. Another annoying thing was that the room had a refrigerator which was even plugged in and running when we arrived, and yet it was locked inside a cabinet and would not be unlocked unless we paid an additional $10 per night. We were staying 8 nights. So they were going to charge us $80 to wipe it out when we left?!? Also, at least when we were there, they wanted everyone to wear orange armbands in order to use the pool area. That's what we were initially told anyway. However, we don't particularly like walking around town marked as a tourist, so we took them off. When we came into the lobby area from the parking area, we were stopped by security and escorted to the front desk for new armbands. We continued to take them off when we left the resort, but found ourselves feeling like we were criminals with security always keeping an eye on us. Lastly, I was disappointed to find that, except for poolside pizza, there was no outdoor dining. Both restaurants are indoors. When you're from Minnesota, you want to eat outside - which we did - next door.

Room Tip: "Beach cabanas" are just ground floor rooms. Except that you don't have to walk down t...

Ok you can tell that the hotel has suffered lack of maintenece, but the beach is amazing, the pool is great it has the bar in the very middle. The breackfast buffet was almost cruise ship like! Fantastic!! Totally worth the $12 p/p I highly recomend it.

The rooms are a little dingy and humid i think they need humidifiers rrrrruuuussshhhh!!!

They do not have a fridge or coffe maker :(

The pool towels suuuuck!! But they get the job done..,

The hotel is pet friendly.. Oh boy
That was bad! just because the lady next to our room had this tiny annoying dog that wolud bark at the break of freaking dawn!!!!

The worst thing would be the "thin" walls.... You can hear.....eve-ry-thing going on in the rooms next to you!

Overall i had a great time y would go again... far far away from any dogs staying there.
