My son and I recently visited Rincon for a surfing vacation and while there, visiting Do Galego was on our "to do" list for sure. My son lived in Spain for two years, teaching English to Spanish students in the Northwest region of the country known as Galicia. The dining in that part of the country is excellent and we were hoping that Do Galego was going to be the same---we were not disappointed. We shared several tapas dishes and their home made sangria. It was outstanding. Our waitress just happened to be the owner, and after learning that my son lived in Galicia, introduced us to her husband, who is from Santiago, Spain. He and my son had a wonderful conversation, in Galician. If we were not in Rincon, I would swear this restaurant was in Spain. It is the real deal and a must do when visiting Rincon.
