Stopped in at cowboys for the first time and I was very pleased with the food, atmosphere and service. I had their special ribs and the meat was so tender it fell off the bone. Beer was ICE cold. As others have said, it is an open air pavillion, plenty of sports TVs, a huge TV screen for outdoor viewing; the bar is polished concrete and very well done. Try the local specialty, mamposteo( sorry for the spelling) the addition of cilantro and plenty of garlic was great. the prices are very reasonable and good sized portions. It would be a good place for a large group. a little hard to find if you don't know where you are going. Take 115 south towards Mayaguez and take the first left after the Edwards supermarket shopping center. There is no sign on 115 at the moment but Cowboys is easy to find and just a few minutes away once you turn off of 115. When you get close your nose will lead the way. The family used to run rodeos in what is now the parking lot. They had two ponies available for kiddie rides. I plan to bring my family there next season.
