After being recommended by our son and his friends, we enjoyed a lunch at Sand Bay Tea Rooms. The food is excellent and the people who run it very nice.

Well done.

“Afternoon trip to Sand Bay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 December 2013

After a scenic journey on the bus to Sand Bay, my friends and I enjoyed a fantastic afternoon tea and light meal at this excellent restaurant.

We found the cleanliness to be excellent, the owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming.
The atmosphere is very pleasant and the interior spacious and light.

The food and drink are excellent and there is a good choice on the menus, something to suit all tastes.

We shall visit again as soon as we can

“Exactly what we were looking for”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 December 2013

My family was looking for a light lunch and cream teas and this was the perfect find. The sandwiches were fresh and delicious. The cream tea that followed was amazing. I have never had better scones. They were freshly made and delicious. The owners were extremely welcoming. Great location and easy to find. Thank you!

“Un-expected Visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 November 2013

Having just walked 10 miles, we saw the flag flying and decided on a well earned Tea and cake. Well what a nice place, warm, friendly & clean. Will be certainly popping back again when we walk that way soon. Thank you, keep up the good work.

“Lovely tea rooms/restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 November 2013

We visited Sand Bay Tea Rooms today for lunch after coming in from a cold windy day outside it was very inviting to see a lovely fire going, so cosy. We seated ourselves at a table and looked at the excellent menu, we decided to go for the meals on the special menu, I chose the chicken curry which was delicious, on such a cold day it was very warming:) Matt and Dave were lovely people and had a little chat with us. I cannot understand "1" only bad review that slated this place, my goodness me where have these people eaten before "the Ritz'!!!!!! I can only say that we will definitely return to try the gorgeous cream tea or the home made delicious cakes and we will pass on the good word to our friends, one of whom recommended us in the first place!! Thank you Matt and Dave we will be back :)
