“little piece of paradise in our backyard”
Reviewed 25 February 2013

Winding road through the forest then stop at the pub for a meal or use their bbq facilities. Great day out to see the waterfalls in winter especially but it still has it's charm in summer, go early in the morning then finish your day off with a picnic/BBQ.

“Natural bushland and many hectares of it”
Reviewed 25 February 2013

Quite seasonal. At the right ime of the year, the cooler months, the venue offers bush walks and the opportunity to play botanist and enjoy the many flower species that occur naturally in the park and/or enjoy a picnic/BBQ. In summer time the heat and dry bushland can seem quite threatening.

“Waterfall dried up”
Reviewed 23 February 2013

Going in Feb meant that the waterfall was dried up and there was very little to look at! However there were kangaroos at the back of the tavern that made it a little more interesting.

“John Forrest National Park & Tavern”
Reviewed 20 February 2013

Very mediocre Tavern, and the area around is very run down and you have to pay to enter the park. There is the opportunity to so kangaroos but the overall experience is very disappointing.
