“Exceptional views, although expensive”
Reviewed 12 April 2012

If you're looking for a fine sit-down restaurant with spectacular views, as compared to a stand-up tapas bar, this is a good choice. Unlike the other reviewers, we found the food to be more than acceptable, although for the price you might want to expect more. Our fish was fine, but the appetizers disappointed. But, again, the views are spectacular. And the restaurant is housed in the stables of a palacio. Side streets are quiet and away from the hordes of tourists on the main road crossing the gorge.

“Utterley shocked”
Reviewed 15 March 2012

Could not believe this restaurant was voted Ronda's number one. The setting by the gorge is spectacular but the quality of food and its presentation was basic and unprofessional. We ordered the goat cheese starter. It arrived as a pile of sliced veg covered in melted cheese which was NOT GOATS. My complaint was met with a simplistic indifference. The main course was duck...a magret hacked into three chunks, grilled and placed on a handful of oven chips with a spoon of shredded cabbage and carrot at the side. There were no garnishes or sauces and no thought for presentation. It was no better then pub grub. We left without taking dessert. What we ate cost nearly 90€. Never again.

“Excellent food with spectacular views and very friendly service.”

This restaurant offers one of the best views in Ronda. We were able to have a very leisurely and unhurried lunch on New Year's Day. The menu was limited because of the holiday but what was offered was very good with meticulous presentation. We strongly recommend this restaurant.

“The restaurant with the best view in Ronda”
Reviewed 16 December 2011

We like the wine selection and the creative use of local products for several dishes. The view is also amazing. However, it is not cheap and if it's high-season you should book ahead. For a romantic dinner, this place has the right view to offer.

“What was all the fuzz about?”

Just...plain....ordinary food! Really nothing special, just expensive. The views are great though. The waiter recommended a really boring wine, dont take the Pinot Noir he recommends! btw the waiter and staff were very nice :)
