“Museum of stuffed animals - kind of creepy but interesting”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 September 2013

We went in here spontaneously. It's only 1.5 euros so worth a quick visit to do something different and escape the heat of the Ronda sunshine. It seemed to be one man's collection of lots of different animals that he has shot and stuffed over the years (about five rooms of exhibits). The owner also offers hunting trips in the surrounding countryside. There were lots of different species of deer, water buffalo, moose, wild goats, wolves, as well as endangered species (lions, a jaguar) which one can only hope were shot and stuffed a long time ago. There's a bit of information about the more unsual animals so that you can find out their natural habitats, etc. In summary it was quite interesting, but not animal lovers, and it might give small children nightmares..

“Dusty old place”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 July 2013

This museum had a lot of old photos and some dusty costumes on creepy mannequns. Not much else. Even our pre-teen boys were unimpressed, which says a lot since they love guns, bandits, etc.

“Small but informative museum”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 May 2013

Loved the museum for what it was and not for trying to be something else... its small, you can complete the tour in under and hour, and we really liked the explanation of the geology and how the unique landscape affected the history.

“Fascinating well presented museum”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 January 2013

I stumbled across this museum - and was slightly daunted that it would be a temple to slaughter! However, if you have ever hunted, shot or fished in your life, or are interested in wildlife I would suggest you go in - entrance is a paltry 1.50 Euros! It is a beautiful building, and extremely elegantly done. An amazing quantity of heads, but beautifully mounted and displayed. Fascinating array of animals. Extremely good quality shop.
