We stayed at this hotel for one night whilst driving around Andalucía at the beginning of May 2014. We wish we had stayed for longer - one night was not enough. Without even discussing what an amazing place Ronda is, this hotel was perfect. The hotel has so much character, it is beautiful and traditionally Spanish. The staff were both helpful and informative and everywhere is within walking distance. We visited the restaurants recommended to us by the hotel and were not disappointed. We had booked the junior suite and it was just stunning. The bathroom was amazing with a Jacuzzi bath and the décor was very tasteful. There was a warm homely feeling about the hotel and every room was decorated with so much thought that you needed a few days just to appreciate it. We parked at the nearest car park which is about a 5 minute walk away, but you can park by the hotel to unload / load your car first. The hotel have an arrangement with the local car park so you get a reduced price which was really helpful. The minibar was well stocked and reasonable and the toiletries were the best selection of our whole trip - so much so my husband thought we could save them for presents (which I won't do)! We loved this hotel and Ronda so much and will definitely return - along with Granada it was our favourite place in Andalucía with Seville a very close second, but this hotel was by far our favourite of the whole trip - the only thing lacking for my husband was a swimming pool (if we were staying for longer than a weekend in Summer).

3 travellers stayed in one double and one single room ( 6 and 8) for 2 nights. Very charming premises with equally charming staff. Prompt replies to all our queries before our arrival. Only gripe was smoking guests in central courtyard- smell wafted into our room. Despite this , highly recommended! We would definitely stay again.

Service and location of this hotel is excellent. Reception staff couldn't be more helpful, room was very clean and roomy and on a rather warm day the in room refrigerator was appreciated. Bed was comfy and the pillows were not too hard.

Situated in the old town of Ronda only a couple of minutes walk from the historic "New" Bridge. This hotel has loads of character and a friendly staff. The rooms are a good size and the beds very comfortable.
Being in the centre of the old town the views are limited but we didn't look out onto anything unpleasant just narrow streets.
We ate out at night having only breakfast in the hotel. This is a good size with plenty of choice but a little expensive.

Room Tip: Rooms vary in size. We had room 17 which was very comfortable for the two of us and probably mid siz...

We found this delightful small hotel in the Alastair Sawday guide to special places to stay - and it was.

Immediately upon arrival we were met by the owner who welcomed us warmly, dealt with arrival formalities efficiently and took us up to our room. (Our luggage had been taken up for us while we had been taken to the car park which was a little way from the hotel.)

The room was just delightful, traditionallly decorated, stylish, well designed and had a lovely quiet position overlooking a tiny square.

Everything about this friendly hotel testified to an elegant taste in everything affecting the quality of a visitor's stay. We would have loved to have stayed for much longer.

Great place to stay in Ronda. The location is perfect. I much prefer to stay in the old part of town. The decor was well done. It is not my taste (a little heavy and dark) but beautifully done. The breakfast was good. The staff was incredibly helpful to us when we had to contact the bus station and to arrange a trip to the Pileta caves (which I highly recommend!). The sitting areas were lovely and there was access to a computer if you need one. I was a little disappointed that we could not use the movie room. It was reserved for a private screening at 8:45. They don't have any children's movies-just adult classics.

Excellent choice for our visit to Ronda in May 2014. Stayed two nights, would stay again. Historic mansion beautifully converted into small hotel. Impressive decor throughout, paintings, books, furniture, ceramics, woodwork, memorabilia. Staff spoke excellent English and were warm, welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. Front desk staffed 24 hours. Can park at front door, unload luggage, then drive to attended gated parking at city hall five minute walk away. Great location in center of old city, near the New Bridge, the star attraction. Quiet, comfortable rooms with good twin beds. Nice bathroom, large shower, quality amenities. Minibar, elevator, good wifi. Continental breakfast was ok, but frankly expected more from such a classy hotel. Dining room is small, so you need to select a time for breakfast the evening before. Be sure to accept one of the homemade bottled tomatoes for pasta at another time. On day of departure, staff warned us that main street would close late morning for a footrace, enabling us to leave before being trapped for 1-2 hours.

Room Tip: All rooms are different and this is a popular hotel. Book early for best selection.
