“It may be a Plaza, but it is a through traffic route....”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 October 2013

A few crumby shops, a ghastly American burger joint, ice cream parlour, entrance to the Parador and that's about it! However, this is an important link between the bullring area and the new town and the bridge over to the old town.

“Right by the famous gorge”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 August 2013

This is the best place to be if you want to see the gorge of Ronda or go shopping. Do go to the casco historico, the old town, over the bridge and visit Palacio de Mondragon and Casa de Juan Bosco.

“Not really worth the train journey!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 August 2013 via mobile

Took 1.5 hours on the train from San Roque (we were told this was part of the experience!) and I wouldn't say it was all that scenic as promised! Then, as we had a toddler and the 8pm train home wasn't an option (and there's only 3 trains a day) we had just over 2 hours until the train back down again. We literally got off the train, ran to the bull ring, rushed round it and ran back to the train. Though the bull ring was interesting, in my opinion, it wasnt worth the trek and was a complete waste of a day! :(

“Ruined by McDonalds”

the last thing you want to see in a historic plaza is a big Mc outlet .

Get it moved somewhere else.

“The secret here is to make to the secluded gardens behind”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 June 2013

The square is the hub of Ronda and as such can be very busy however, if you walk behind it you discover a secluded park area. Wonderful views of the valley can be had in the sheltered and shady gardens. Walk a bit further, grab a coffee from the park vendors and look at the birds in the park avery, bliss!
