In many ways I really loved this little hotel - ambience/service/breakfasts/location/great chilling but unfortunately I have a few niggles (perhaps my expectations were too high based on the previous reviews)? The room was too small, also a tiny bathroom and the shower so small you could not turn around with either switching it off or getting stuck to the shower curtain. The toliet made a clanking noise all night so unfortunately we did not sleep well on both nights we stayed. The light in the bathroom was broken and the side light in the bedroom would not plug in (when we moved the bed to find the plug there was a thick layer of dust). We enjoyed our stay for the other reasons but to be honest I probably would not stay again here, although Ronda was our favourite place in Andalucia.

Ronda is beautiful and the hotel is, at least, so beautiful as Ronda: could speak of the landscape, of the location of the hotel, of the garden, the rooms, the cup of wine taken by the pool in the evening, but I think you need to go there for better understanding. Lovely place. Enchanted atmosphere.

Room Tip: All rooms are nice but I think that the rooms in the ground floor, with door and overlooking to the...

The hotel and grounds are beautiful, and breakfasts are exceptionally good. The location below the town makes it very peaceful, with a lovely view of the countryside and horses from the tranquil garden. The only small niggle is a lack of storage space, but that was compensated for by everything else.

A perfect hotel to relax and read a book or even write a book. Just look at photos from the hotel and that will explain everthing.

Room Tip: All rooms has a great view, back room are the best though, country side, mountains, horses ect

Great atmosphere and decor with wonderful background music.

Only a short, enjoyable walk up the stairs to all the sights. The hotel itself is well removed from the noise and bustle and is an oasis of tranquility. The pool is great and a nice outdoor area.

Exceptional breakfasts. Tea or coffee available anytime. Very friendly staff. Christian, the owner, was very helpful and assisted us planning some driving routes through the surrounding villages.

Frre parking available at the front door. Try and locate the hotel on a map before you drive there. It is up a very narrow, winding little road below the walls of the town. Our GPS couldn't find it and we drove through town twice until we picked up a map at the tourist office. Once we knew where it was on the map it was easy to get there.

After a month in Spain this would be our favourite hotel.

Lovely little hotel. We were made to feel very welcome. The bedroom and ensuite were both small but more than adequate for our needs. The daytime temperature was around 38 degrees whilst we were there, and although there was no actual air conditioning, the room was cool enough with the overhead fan kept on overnight. We loved being woken up by the cockerals in the morning. Excellent breakfast served on the terrace. There is a small pool which we thoroughly enjoyed using to cool off in. Make sure you get directions from the owners as it is not that easy to find. We loved this hotel. Quite a steep hill to walk up to get into Ronda so we wouldn't recommend you stay here if you have any difficulties walking.
