The Arab Baths in Ronda are well preserved, giving a glimpse into the incredible engineering that brought the water in and the culture of the hot-warm-cold bath process. The computer animation video makes the experience coma live. It's all part of the Ronda experience, well worth visiting.

It's a bit of a trek down to (and then subsequently back up from) the Arab baths, but if you're going to be in the Old Town then it's something you should see. There isn't too much there and the place could benefit from a few more informative signs, but there is a very interesting video in the bath house itself which explains the workings of the bath and made the remains outside make a whole lot more sense. The bath house is also very peaceful and pretty with the sunlight peaking in through star-shaped wholes above, and it has the added benefit of being very cool on a hot day! We also had the place to ourselves for the whole time, so could take our time photographing the rooms in the low light. We actually were reluctant to leave the cool tranquility to hike back up the steep cobbles in the searing heat.

It is a small site but the walk down and then the return provide various places to get photos …the video in the Baths was worth watching

Interesting video in English and Spanish. Right next to my hotel. Touring the site takes little time but is interesting.
